Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.

What did you say? And what did you mean by it?

You cannot talk about what has never been your experience. What you can never know.
If Roy can do it I don't see why I can't.

1. The reason for the life of "your name here", is that it is a Divine game designed by you (aka: "God") for your own entertainment.

2. The goal of the game is to find conclusion of the game (conclude Samsara), like a mystery to solve or a labyrinth to escape.

3. The path out of the delusion/labyrinth is through the shifting of focus of attention from outwardly facing (away from thoughts and sensations) to inwardly facing (Mauna: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauna_(silence).

bonus: Suffering and happiness are the guides. Following the path of Truth (the teaching) to the practice (Mauna/meditation) results in abidance in/as ones natural state, which is Absolute Happiness and Perfect Contentment.
Well, lookee here, Dam: seems like there's sumthin' to understand after all... 😛

Thanks, Roy.

Oh Gawd, I wish you'd make up your mind Henry.
Oh, it's gibberish, but Roy, your sensei, laid out it while you, his grasshopper, said...
I know there is nothing to understand, and that's what I understand
Roy sez otherwise.

Roy never once mentioned the word ''Understanding''

It was you who mentioned the word here......>
Meaning: you understand it, yeah?

Fine. Lay it out for me.
I do not have to understand it... I know it.

Roy has never experienced death either, Roy has never known death. It's only life that is known.

You are the one who said ''thought free awareness'' is death...not Roy.

I know things that Roy couldn't even begin to imagine, but mankind isn't ready for it yet, so for the time being I must remain silent.

Ok Harbal. Silence works for me too, everything I have ever known has come from silence.

Better get yer self a trim at the barbers. Those spilt ends can sometimes look rather unattractive.

Enjoy your garden. Don't foget to trim that grass too. That grass that grows all by itself.

The end of suffering.

The end of attachment to what is never there, here. Never not here.

How is it dualist?
Hunter and hunted. It the subject object split, it is the typical model of perception that the subject here via some mode of perceiving notice something there. It's the assumption that one cannot experience the experiencer. It reeks of dualism.

It could be but so far they have not collided. There is a fifth fundamental force - as yet, unnoticed by physicists - that keeps the best philosophers and best messiahs and most enlightened from actually making sustained contact. Not like a particle and an anti-particle, but rather two of these people cannot meet because the fifth fundamenal force is cognitive dissonance.

CHNOPS wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 9:52 pm If that "wisdom" is knowledge that says to you that nihilism is wrong, then... yes...

Most of people believe that if you learn more and more you will get more and more nihilism. But that is because they have learn some theories instead of others, etc.

You have learn about the origin of the universe to know to where are we going?

If not, then, you are accepting theories that others says to you.

If yes, then, what are your conclusions?
But is learning really enough?
Or isn't something else needed?

Is knowledge something to "take" or does it have to come from ourselves?

But for it to emerge from ourselves we need to be involved.
That is to find ourselves faced with the choice between being or not being.

The origin of the universe can provide me with further food for thought.
But the motivation has to come from within me.

This trying to arouse a motivation I see it in the way you write, in your interest for the other.
And it is this selfless love that perhaps can serve.
Even if the nihilistic drive is refractory to the treatment received. Being a visceral drive.

By itself the suggestion to learn has in my opinion little chance of success.

Perhaps love, more easily the look of the Medusa.
Knowledge is just having x behaviours in your mind and body. If you learn how to pay more attention, you first learn that generating a thought but then that behaviours change the behaviours of your mind and you pay more attention...

Is just that you dont have a knowledge of what Good and Evil is, or is too cheaper, and so you dont know how to improve yourselft to be better.

If you have that, that is really enough yes.

The knowledge of Good and Evil is therefore the keystone so that it is enough to learn.

However, the knowledge of Good and Evil is a behavior, like any other knowledge.

What to do then to encourage this indispensable behavior?

If the knowledge of Good and Evil is lacking or insufficient, then I do not think our encouragement to learn is enough.
Because it is necessary to induce to eat the forbidden fruit, that is, it is necessary to be the serpent.

The snake who loves you and wants you to start your behavior which consists in the knowledge of Good and Evil.
