Roe Vs Wade? God the greatest Abortionist.

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Have I misunderstood you? Would you not shoot someone who was in your house uninvited, refused to leave and helped themselves to your resources?

If you think it is your responsibility, have you always checked that the woman you were with agreed with your view on abortion, and was prepared to endure pregnancy, labour and birth? My view is that if a woman is taking precautions she is making a choice that she is not inviting life. The idea that a gurgling baby is created at the moment of conception is simply nonsense, and there is sometime during pregnancy when the only 'person' present is the woman.

when I was an atheistic, nihilistic garbage person, I didn't. I just didn't want kids, so I always used a glove for the love. 'course, back then, if I'd knocked her up, I wouldn't have objected to an abortion.

My view is that if a woman is taking precautions she is making a choice that she is not inviting life.

Mine is: don't make babies if you don't want babies.

If baby offends, use person. My thoughts on what that is, when that is, are up-thread.

That's the whole point of contraception.

Fine. The idea that a gurgling person is created at the moment of conception is simply nonsense. I have no idea when a person becomes a person, but I am quite certain it is not the moment an egg is fertilised.

So, YOU 'woulda been on the hook'... whereas, the woman (according to you): 'invited the life into the world'.

You can't even talk about it in the same idiotic terms when it applies to you. And you claim you're NOT a garbage person NOW, as you used to be and as others are, despite you being the one who has posted the most garbage and inaccurate claims on this forum.

This is all about fooling yourself, right??? Oh yes...Henry, a most moral man among men, speaks the god's truth!!

Is it murder to kill men in war?

Is it murder to kill to defend your life?

When is it justified killing... and when is it murder?

You mean like the dishonesty and excuse-making that you continually employ for your other motives? I don't think you're a better person somehow for not having had an abortion. 8)

Is it murder to kill men in war?
That's a good question...but it's complicated by your second question:
Is it murder to kill to defend your life?
No. Nor the lives of your loved ones. Not all "killing" is "murder." If a man breaks into your house and tries to do you violence of some kind, and you grabbed a butcher knife and fought him off, and in the course of the struggle he bled out, you're not a murderer. You didn't hate him, you didn't want to kill him, and maybe you didn't even try to kill him -- but he's dead, nonetheless. And you're still innocent of any crime.
When is it justified killing... and when is it murder?
That's been defined, legally. One issue is when you plan to do it, it's murder; when you didn't, it's manslaughter but not murder. When you had no desire to kill the person, but had to, in order to save your own life, it's self-defense. And when you didn't intend to kill anybody, it's an accident. So intent is criterion 1, but self-defense, premeditation, and so forth play into the equation.

None of these is important for abortion, because in that case, it's the murder of a helpless innocent, deliberately, premeditatedly and with extreme violence. As far as the definition of murder goes, the only question was, "Was she a person?" The rest fits the definition of murder perfectly.
I don't think you're a better person somehow for not having had an abortion.
Anybody is. Just as anybody is a better person for having not committed murder.

Jeez, but you're as autistic as age.

If you invite new life into the world: you're responsible for it.

When John and Sally make a baby: they're both on the hook. They, together, invite that life into the world: they're both responsible.

Yet, laws are challenged and can be changed. Abortion has been legal.

You are as slimy and dishonest as any man who continually frames things differently for himself, which you do all the time! This was a perfect example of you doing it. It was EASY for you to charge that the woman invited life into the world... whereas for you: 'the precautions failed'. A BIG difference, Henry... and you still can't see that you did it because you're so busy wanking on your ego, you've been depleting your brain cells.

Yeah, it is: because if it's a defensive war, the killing may not be murder.
Do you think God has told people to kill?
On occasion. But then, the Person who gave life in the first place has complete right to withdraw it, if He wishes. Life is a bonus; it's not what we're owed from Him.
Abortion has been legal.
Yes, man has legalized not only abortion-murder, but in some places, euthanasia-murder as well. It doesn't make it not-murder.

No, you're cornered and don't want to admit it. You know darn well that what I'm saying fits the bill of "murder" perfectly. That's why the "personhood" debate has become the key point: because any other way you slice it, abortion is murder, plain and simple.
