traumatizing experience?
do people have the choice of retaining the memory of a traumatizing experience? if so, then how can they forget it?

though effective, its only for temporary use. really bad, or blow the cob webs out, yada yada. I'm talking about some thing that doesn't go away easy.

hypnotism might help, but if you know the memory will not go away, embrace it and discuss it (with your friends, priest, therapist ect.)
learning the acceptance of things that we cannot change is often useful...
