Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy
As the successor to Donald ‘grab-them-by-the-pussy’ Trump, President Joe Biden has always been keen to emphasise his support of women’s rights.
He has, of course, a female Vice- President in Kamala Harris and is, we are told, committed to ‘an aggressive and comprehensive plan to further women’s economic and physical security and ensure that women can fully exercise their civil rights’.
His team is working hard ‘to end violence against women’, continuing his ‘leadership on this issue since he authored the Violence Against Women Act in 1994’ and, last but not least, passionate about the need to ‘protect and empower women around the world’.
Fine words indeed. There’s just one small problem. It’s all a pack of lies.
Because when it comes to all of the above, Mr Biden’s decision to withdraw all US troops from Afghanistan is the single most anti-women act he could have conceived.

Re: Hypocrisy
Last time I looked Afgahinis do not get to vote in US elections, nor do they pay tax.
The fuck up and misdirection, and mission bloat of the BUSHwacking twat face, was never going to make it work there.
The Afghans have suffered from 20 years of oppresion, imprisonment and bombing.
The hypocrisy here is you blaming Biden for the fuck ups of previous administrations.
Trump going to pull ou but he did not have the balls.

No not blaming anyone, just pointing out the hypocritical passionate cheap talk, in this particular case, it's Joe biden's chirping.Sculptor wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 3:28 pm Last time I looked Afgahinis do not get to vote in US elections, nor do they pay tax.

Countries can dictate their human policies however they want, according to their own beliefs. Interference is futile.
Re: Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy.
The practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.
Lets all bring our hypocrisies out into the open, lets settle this ongoing battle of don't tell me how to think or what to do once and for all.
Hypo crisis.
Crisis, what crisis.
What!
WwwwwaaaaaT!

Re: Hypocrisy
This is what all groups do, they [eventually] lie, cheat, and steal [depending on conditions] to forward their agendas.
The fact that anybody believes anything different [in light of what has been taking place over the past five decades] either reveals ignorance or delusion.
Folks, at this point it's pretty much up to you and you alone. Don't count on any institutional help because this system is circling the drain. Check back sometime in the early to mid-thirties and perhaps some [productive] assistance will be available at that time.

Yes, not good for Afghan womenhood, though that is hardly the only consideration Biden had in making the decision. But to call it "the single most anti-women act he could have conceived" is to ignore things like nominating justices to the Supreme Court that threaten to overturn Roe v Wade, to give just one example.
It's the journalist's job to help readers to remember things like that so that they can see things in perspective. Vine seems to see her role as trading on her readers' poor memories for detail in order to distort the truth to fit her partisan agenda.

Re: Hypocrisy
How the fuck does sending uncultured American thugs to Afghanistan to slaughter its people help 'Afghan womanhood'?
The US CREATED ISIS and Al Quada FFS! It destabilised the entire ME, opening the Pandora's box of Islamic extremism and and sending the region back to the Middle Ages.
Afghanistan was always about protecting the opium trade. Ironically, there's a video on Youtube of American soldiers shooting an Afghan man planting poppies by the side of the road, then laughing about it. Kunts.
Yes. Those poor Afghans. They really needed those heroic Yanks and Brits like Harry Fuckwit=Windsor to make their lives better...
When did invading a country EVER make the lives of the people of that country better?

Re: Hypocrisy
I've heard the Taliban are murdering people in Afghanistan who had anything to do with the US forces there. Absolutely barbaric if true but the Bush administration owns the debacle that was created in the world due to the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Sorry to say, but the world would have been a much better place had GW Bush and his advisors never been born. They left the world a lot darker for almost all of us. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear they will ever face justice for their crimes so I guess we have to wait for old age to take its course. I'll be so glad when the world is rid of them.
Re: Hypocrisy
The Afghan advance is a popular uprising, supported by thousands of government troops downing their weapons, and either deserting if they and joining up if they can.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 3:37 pmNo not blaming anyone, just pointing out the hypocritical passionate cheap talk, in this particular case, it's Joe biden's chirping.Sculptor wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 3:28 pm Last time I looked Afgahinis do not get to vote in US elections, nor do they pay tax.

The US started a war they did not have the will to win, as usual. The US loves to burn weapons and tax dollars - this keeps the arms manufacturers happy. I would imagine you have heard of the idea of the "military/industral complex"?.
Every bomb means profit.
THe US seems incapable of taking home the lessons of Korea, then Vietnam, now Afghanistan. Their efforts in Libya, Iraq, and Syria have led to nothing but suffering and economic ruin for millions of people.
This has very little to do with gender equality, never did.

It's a bit rich, you sitting in your onfy chair in the US whilst your country has been tearing the shit out of the near east since WW2.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 6:49 pm I've heard the Taliban are murdering people in Afghanistan who had anything to do with the US forces there. Is in more "barbaric" than bombing civilians as the US does and is still doing?
Face to face executions are more honest, at least.
Drone striking weddings - how do you feel about that?
What about dropping millions of tonnes or ordanace on Laos - a country the US did not even have the homour to declare war on?

Re: Hypocrisy
I guess you’re right. Probably more to do with the global war on terrorism. For what happened in New York.
So I guess Sarah Vine was maybe over reacting making that statement about the abandonment of the innocence, namely the women and children’s human rights and general welfare.
Re: Hypocrisy
Maybe their initial intent was to offer some sort of humanitarian support to the innocents that were caught up in a war that they never asked for or ever wanted.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 6:38 pm How the fuck does sending uncultured American thugs to Afghanistan to slaughter its people help 'Afghan womanhood'?

What’s really hypocritical is the Christian twats moaning about feminism and their choices regarding the right ethics of abortion while forgetting men are murdering innocent babies every day. The lives that have already been born with a soul to experience. Whereas zygote is seen as more important to a Christian than a life that has already been submitted to existence……it’s a W eird attitude really. But the men are just weird full stop.

I don’t know Veg…maybe no one really cares about the innocence’s then, rather it’s just about ongoing war games.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 9:51 pmAre you serious?
