Your not sure that this part of mathematics concerned with questions of size, shape, relative position of figures, and the properties of space.
There are many theorems. I say learn them.
You’re the one who took what I wrote as only the Euclid the oldest of sciences.
What about Descartes .analytic geometry, an alternative method for formalizing geometry. In this approach, a point is represented by its Cartesian coordinates, a line is represented by its equation, and so on. In Euclid's original approach, the Pythagorean theorem follows from Euclid's axioms. In the Cartesian approach, the axioms are the axioms of algebra, and the equation expressing the Pythagorean theorem is then a definition of one of the terms in Euclid's axioms, which are now considered to be theorems.
Or 17th century, Girard Desargues, motivated by the theory of perspective, introduced the concept of idealized points, lines, and planes at infinity. The result can be considered as a type of generalized geometry, projective geometry, but it can also be used to produce proofs in ordinary Euclidean geometry in which the number of special cases is reduced.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
René Descartes marked a new stage for geometry. Since his geometric figures represented functions and equations analytically played a key role in the emergence of calculus in the 17th century. Descartes theory of perspective showed that there is more to geometry than just the metric properties of figures far more enriched by the study of geometry that originated with Euler who made important discoveries in fields of calculus and Gauss whose theorem led to the creation of topology and differential geometry.
That's what I'm talking about.

Not geometry in a narrow manner squaring and extending and applying and the like . That confuses the necessities of geometry with our daily life. The heaven should be used as a pattern and with a view to that higher knowledge; In astronomy, as in geometry, let the heavens alone if we would approach the subject in the right way and so make the natural gift of reason to be of any real use.
The philosophical mind loves knowledge of this sort that shows the eternal nature. The release of shadows to the light, from the underground den to the sun.
Geometry has the power of elevating the highest principle in mind to contemplate. The effect of the mind and how it goes beyond mere conscious thinking contains all that is essential and concrete and actual forces it’s way by natural appeal.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
As Johann Gottfried von Herder put it, philosophy is like a holy chain, runs through all that was transient, and has therefore passed away. Thus has been preserved and transmitted to us what ancient times produced. All the philosophers forgotten we must rediscovery purely by the light of reason and visualize by intelligence, without any assistance of senses, and persevere until reason arrives at last the intellectual world.
The world is our inheritance and s the result of labor, the labor of all past generations. Thought is essentially bound up with history. Just as art , skill and invention, customs , social and political life is the result of those who preceded us in history.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Temperance, courage, magnificence, and every other virtue, good memory, are unwearied solid lovers of knowledge virtue we have to or we would never be able to endure and go through all the intellectual discipline that is required of philosophy.
The problem is philosophy has no vocation, or industry merely being love of learning is the same as a lover of gymnastic or hunting, and all other exercises.
Therefore you will then be better able to find out first who is more naturally bent to knowledge of calculation and geometry, no compulsion, let early learning be a sort of fun; Then youth is the time for any extraordinary toil. calculation and geometry and all the other elements of instruction, which are a preparation for philosophy, must be presented in childhood; but not under any force because no one ought to be a prisoner of any kind of knowledge.

Crystals contain within a secret silent geometric component that grows and grows upward. This is called crystallization. The outside of the crystal is itself a quiescent mass determined by form . Crystals are amazing grow inside without outside action.
This Geometry will draw the soul towards truth, and create the spirit of philosophy. Look how Parmenides demonstrated like and unlike, that nothing does not exist, for then nothing would be no longer not. This is very difficult to demonstrate nothing in reference to visible things or to consider the question only in reference to objects of thought .
Theuth; the bird which is called the Ibis is sacred to him, said he was the inventor of many arts, such as arithmetic and calculation and geometry and astronomy and draughts and dice, but his great discovery according to Socrates, was the use of letters.
Thamus in those days was the king of the whole country of Egypt; in that great city of Upper Egypt which the Hellenes call Egyptian Thebes. Desiring that the Egyptian people might be allowed to have its benefits Theuth showed his inventions to Thamus about each use , the king praising some and censuring others, but once he got to the use of letters, telling the king that these letters would make the Egyptians wiser and give them better memories; and better wit. The king replied:”O Theta, most ingenious parent or inventor of an art you not always the best judge of the utility of your own inventions. For the users of them this discovery of yours will create forgetfulness in the soul, because they will not use their memories; they will trust the written characters and not remember of themselves. They will be hearers of many things and will have learned nothing; they will appear to be omniscient and will generally know nothing; they will be tiresome company, having the show of wisdom without reality”.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Being self-taught, I cannot be expected to show any gratitude for a culture which I have never received. I am master of myself, I have been educated far better and more perfectly than students have been educated, and I am better able to share in the general underground abode, and get the habit of seeing in the dark.
I acquired the habit of seeing ten thousand times better and I know images and what they represent because I have seen the beautiful just good truth. And thus philosophers become real, not a dream, but in a spirit there is no fighting with one another about shadows distracted by in the struggle for power .
The world of knowledge is the idea of good and seen only with effort; and when seen the universal author of all things beautiful and right, parent of light and of the lord of light in visible world,
Reason and truth is the power in either in public or private life must not wonder why to attain to this beatific vision are unwilling to descend to affairs of everyday activity in the forum; for philosopher's mind are ever hastening into the desire dwelling .
The power and capacity of learning exists in mind already; and as the eye is unable to turn from darkness to light without the whole body, so too, of knowledge it can only be moved by the mind turned from becoming to being. Socrates believed, mind naturally summons calculation and intelligence, to see whether several objects are one or two. And if they turn out to be two, is not each of them one and different?
What is absolute? All arithmetic and calculation have to do with number, mind naturally summons calculation and intelligence to aid , that may see whether the several objects announced to her are one or two. This is the way in which the forum has a power of drawing and converting mind to contemplate true being.
Then knowledge here is of the kind for which are seeking, we must learn the art of number in order to pass from becoming to truth being. I am seeking here, to rise out of the sea of change to lay hold of true being, therefore we must be arithmetician. Its the easiest way to pass from becoming to being.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Here I am trying to conceive knowledge with my feelings in the way, they only hinder the acquisition best I quit.
The true astronomer looks at the movements of the stars and sees heaven framed by the creator in the most perfect manner. Then astronomy, as too geometry, should let the heavens alone ini order to approach the subject in the right way. Heaven should be used as the pattern and view to that higher knowledge; In astronomy, as in geometry, we should employ these problems infinitely beyond the present astronomers.
Astronomy and geometry should employ reason to their laborious study and not lose sight of our higher object. Which creates the spirit of philosophy. the universe into three parts; comets, moons, and planets using Kepler’s laws of motion. In the strictest sense I used Johannes Kepler ‘s laws for universal gravitation, and upon the hypotheses of Nicolaus Copernicus, also observations of Tycho Brahe, and upon William Gilbert. While Copernicus assumed the path was round he thought motion was irregular, Kepler believed motion can only be uniform and can only coincide equal with the motion.
Time is the truth of all things is an out and out abstract being that in as much it is, is not and in as much it is not, it is. The unfolding of things is what makes time.
If everything stood still including imagination everything would endure but all things temporal are subject to change . The only standpoint is Now, it is distinct from the other moment past and future Now will not come to be, nor was it but is.

Whatever I admit to understanding about is not merely to persuade you my reason is genuine not always distinct but disincline to opinion by which people so frequently thrust themselves into and belittle others reason. It is very hard for me to be frank and open about my opinions, I try never tell any thing but the truth, though I am not always exquisite.
I have as much as I can confined myself in philosophy; I prefer the undisturbed enjoyment of tranquility to all the vain splendor of ambition.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Copernicus finally has received honor after 500 years, assumed motion in a circle can only be uniform to the path and can only coincide equal with focus to any point of a curve shows the path must be ellipse that constitutes the path.
This celestial rule was expounded by Kepler, are the relation of earth and reciprocal sides, the cometary and lunary are rudiments of Kepler's Laws. There is only one beam of light, if two lines traverse in the same time must differ not only experience but also performance . The horizon is the boundary of sight a ray of light determines perception are the cosmos mathematical line
Space offers no resistance whatsoever. If space were a mere material property it would be a composition of things when things leave is space like a box remains. Space can only be understood by dimensions. Come and place your eyes on the heavenly starry sky some evening and see space goes beyond the farthest star no matter how far away.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
The relation of earth and cometary and lunary viewing of the celestial system is never over but what is set down here are the rudiments of a rational comprehensive past. The universe as an ordered and harmonious system called the cosmos separates into particular bodies and moment three motions; the first motion which is communicated from outside and is uniform cometary, second, lunary conditional and free motion and lastly, earth the unconditionally free motion.
Kepler divided celestial motion into the cometary , the lunary and planetary rule taking twenty seven years r to determine law of motion by using the celestial heaven as his relativity. What faith in the heavenly bodies knowing reason must be there, he arrived at these laws. They are among the most beautiful, purest and least tangled with diversity to be found.
In the cosmos space and time and matter and motion, they are spatiality but comets are real being-for- self liberated from gravity has individuality within self, Comets are in opposition to gravity.
Sun is most difficult to understand because it does not show itself as real, only reflection into is pure identity with self , reflection into self. Consider the sun mode and manner as this unrest whirlpool of self-rotating motion, pure return to itself, a force, absolute velocity, everywhere present.
The archetypical crystal is the diamond of the earth in which every eye rejoices, air is the first-born of light and darkness is subordinate to light must be free from earthy flaw, otherwise air is simply opaque not transparency Opaque relationship belongs to colors and on the other hand, hovers outside the individuality of shapes shadowy existence mere relation between light and darkness, in short a spectrum.
In Kepler’s Universal Gravitation cohesion is the relationship of one and another forming, turning and expressing independence in the same dwelling place; gravitation is motion which partly conditioned and partly free occurring at the same time is the lunary motion. The cosmos is cometary rule, is universal the centripetal movement, lunary rule, the centrifugal motion, together constitutes the planetary rule.

Turn back to the epoch of time that took place centuries ago a revival of such is needed.
The problem today people are changing the way that the atmosphere emits energy.
Earth is looked upon nowadays as a drop in the ocean it does not enjoy any special favors little respect for it, We sentient creatures have an absolute idealistic belief that earth is nothing find endless ways of using and mastering earth and universe .

Re: Philosophy of Mind
In every person there is an eye of mind get which, when by other pursuits lost or dimmed, can be re-illumined; and that is more precious truth seen. Now there are two classes of people, one who will agree and will take your words as a revelation; or a the other whom will be utterly meaningless and who will naturally deem them to be idle tales, for they see no sort of profit which is to be obtained from them. Then, chief aim in carrying on this argument for own improvement; at the same time you do not grudge to others any benefit which they may receive.
The absolute end of anything is reason without it we cannot what we are beholding, or may have seen before for a short time, have lost memory, which once knew. Knowledge is termed recollection because it recalls things to mind in memory or through the sight or touch, or of some other senses. I am not speaking only of knowledge but of beauty, goodness, justice, religiousness, and all stamped with the name of essence.
illustration after illustration reason I shows pure immaterial form in Nature. If anyone wanted to see reason in nature look at magnetism a highly astonishing phenomena The principle is the process of becoming. Magnetism everywhere at work a silent formative process which links together all the indifferent parts of the whole earth. Everything is set in its place has magnetism , a cohesion by inherent impulse sets forth a vital principle which expounds itself without materiality and whose form one can only say are there. That is magnetism an abstract activity.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
I advertised in the local newspaper, “Hegel’s Philosophy of Nature” class the subject was on space and time, universal matter and motion and gravitation. To explain I had some props, celestial map. plumber’s pendulum, and a pin pointer.
Three people attended; when I mentioned something that contradicted their thoughts they got hot under the collar how they mistrusted me I always get a heckler in the group someone who knows everything and can never be wrong. This one heckler would not except the law of gravity.
made me aware what amazed me they knew little about gravityI figured . some day once they would realize truth will break away from ignorance and see the splendor of intelligence.
Why do I have this drive! Out of desperation to talk to a fellow Hegelian I once called Professor Findlay the head professor at Boston University at his home. He answered in a whispering raspy voice I told of my predicament wanted to know was he a Hegelian? He said he was not .
Professor Findlay asked why I would want to study Hegel “He is very hard to understand“.
I then asked about A.V.Miller the translator of Hegel’s Philosophy of Nature was he is a Hegelian
”You do know? as though I was an insider. A.V.Miller is not very smart, whispered Professor Findlay. “As matter of fact, if it were not for me A.V. Miller would never have finished Philosophy of Nature into a book.”

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Good is said to be the author of knowledge of all things known .
Things known could only have been known through the senses and from the senses is derived knowledge that all sensible things aim at an idea of things of which they fall short of. Then before I began to sense any thing , I must have knowledge of the image or I could not have referred to that image is derived from.
Then thinking is pure knowing because pure knowing the ultimate absolute truth of consciousness, I mean thinking without any specifications and filling; not mediated by anything. An immediate being opening and unfolding into the world having two agents of mind, one which uses the figures given by images; and which can be hypothetical, instead of going upwards to principle descends to the other end; the other agent passes out of hypotheses, and goes to a principles of higher knowledge, it is above hypotheses makes no use of images proceeds only in and through the ideas themselves. begin with them go on until arriving at last in a consistent manner good.
Little things elaborated how absurd! Those who want to see true knowledge must take a longer and winding way, for nothing imperfect is the measure of anything but the most finished picture. Nothing short of should satisfy us and never lose sight of the higher truth that all things become useful and advantageous through good.
