Maybe she just really wants Kamala Harris to be president.
Well, she gave her reasons and there’s no reason to doubt her.
I'm being sarcastic obviously. That would be the upshot of successfully impeaching Biden.

That may be the upshot but that doesn't make it her motive.

You understand that when one is making a sarcastic remark, one isn't making a serious claim, right?

So in your little puzzle creation that is your way of communicating, you're actually saying that this Republican's primary motive for wanting to impeach Biden is that she just wants Kamala Harris to be president?

Or are you not saying that.

So no, you don't understand sarcasm, humor, etc.

Yes, I do understand it.

I also understand that your demonstrated range of discussion is quite limited and stunted by your agenda.

But I had just asked you if you understood that a sarcastic/humorous response isn't actually a serious claim, and you responded by suggesting that it was a serious claim. So how does that amount to understanding it? (This is a good example why it's not worthwhile explaining humor, by the way.)

I think that your confusion is a good example of why sarcasm is antithetical to sincere discourse. It shows an eagerness to slot definitions into an agenda by placing artificial limitations, such as the false dichotomy oozing up to divide a humorous presentation from a serious claim, a boundary that is wholly self-imposed and existing only in localized delusion. Fortunately, it's not always infectious.

Now, expand your wings young philosopher. Take these heady insights and fly further rather than skidding nose-first into the mud with all the nos that everyone already knows, lower than when you started your first step to wisdom.

And they say Americans don't have a sense of humour.

I get it. You're being sarcastic.

Sorry that you don't get it.

*

Your meaning is that what you say, no matter how absurd, is my meaning.

Get it?

btw: That's a most pathetic and juvenile mode of discourse.

But feel free to come on back when you have something worthwhile. Always glad to help.

A Left turn off I-40 puts you right into the barrio, Amigo.

A right turn runs you into a mountain of immoveable rock.

But only if you're heading West.
