I didn't suggest that the public needed more cynicism; at least as I understand it, it is not a synonym for scepticism. I don't think that many people who might have been swayed by the Hunter Biden laptop story were not aware of it, so I must respectfully disagree that people didn't practice their scepticism; at least not those who didn't jump to a conclusion.

In the 2020 election, the media, the FBI, and social media hushed up Biden’s corruption and abuse of power he uses to advance his personal, family financial interests. The effects of this black-out effort by the Leftist media, which is the MSM, are debatable. There were reports of from 17% to 35% of people who said they wouldn’t have voted for Biden, had they known.

But the percentage is irrelevant. Focusing on picking through the weeds while the neatly arranged deck chairs on the Titanic sink is just distraction. So is rioting and tearing down statues a distraction from illegally changing voting laws in the name of Covid-19 panic.

Polls, media, and the voting process illegally instituted by Democrats, with at a minimum the tacit approval of Republican politicians (because at every level of government Republicans knew it was going on,) have discredited themselves too many times to be trusted.
