Where was your God during 165 million years of Dinosaur Rule?

Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Where was your God during 165 million years of Dinosaur Rule?

Post by Dontaskme »

Oh yeah that's right, yeah, there wasn't one. Never has, was, or ever will be a your God.

Dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago (at the end of the Cretaceous Period), after living on Earth for about 165 million years.
After the dinosaurs died out, nearly 65 million years passed before people appeared on Earth.

What was God doing for 165 millions years while the dinosaurs were busy ripping each others guts out?

Maybe God was just sitting around on cloud 9 smoking weed all day and just waiting for the right moment to inject the perfect species into the world.

Just watching. When he got bored with that show, he lobbed an asteroid at them and watched the furry critters scamper about, butting, clawing, rutting, crawling, growling and screaming for another few million years. None of those creatures bothered him, so he just let them get on with it. Until one particularly mangy ape started nagging him about every damn thing from "Lord, give us water!" to "Merciful father, please dry up all this water!" From "We stoned the uppity woman for you!" to "How shall we best torture this heretic?" Well! Even the most patient god couldn't take more than six or seven thousand years of that ...
... and the ants have waited a long time for their turn.

Frankenstein's monsters eating other monsters for millions of years - that basically sums up life in it's entirety.

Nothing EVER changes.

I guess God and the sages got fed up playing survival games with dinosaurs and went into stasis.

OR

I guess dinosaurs never existed, God just planted evidence to make it all more interesting.

AND-OR

I guess God actually started the universe last Thursday.

Evolution is all you need to look at.

All you are is an evolved piece of green slime.
