Trump's loss is by more than 4 million people...

How should society be organised, if at all?

These are the sorts of things that led Winston Smith to oily gin and loose cigarettes. (each title leads to a story)

"In accordance to the principles of Doublethink, it does not matter if the war is not real, or when it is, that victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be continuous. The essential act of modern warfare is the destruction of the produce of human labor. A hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. In principle, the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects. And its object is not victory over Eurasia or Eastasia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.” Julia? Are you awake? There is truth, and there is untruth. To be in a minority of one doesn’t make you mad."

Thanks for the stories...

A fine example of Doublethink is the sheep-like acceptance of the whopper-pretense that a racist, corrupt, career politician with a long, mediocre legislative record, punctuated by wrong-headed foreign policy views and now in obvious mental decline, who couldn’t even attract flies during his campaign, who is ripe and primed for foreign control because of king-pinning his family’s greedy racketeering via political bullying, actually received far more votes than the popular, charismatic Obama received in his election.

“Well, there are ways that will not work. One of them is the long, slow slog through interminable, dusty election precincts, counting one vote here, a dead guy who voted over there, three ballots where the local team filled out the missing fields. That is the loser road.

There are lots of stories in all directions. Because there are countless storytellers and agendas.

A mountain of stories is not an indication of truth. Rather, if not clearly for entertainment purposes, it can be an indication of excessive and creative intoxication and (in some cases) desperation.

Unfortunately, a path based on stories intoxicates further with every step. Building a monument unto itself. It must keep growing because one is driven to justify and glorify their journey. Even if that journey leads to absurdity or over a cliff. The quietness of simple truth can feel more terrifying and unknown than the nonsense noise (or even horror) one has pledged themselves to. One might even prefer to die without denouncing their stories/fantasies, rather than face what feels like death of their ego (which they mistakenly identify with). In that way, one's ego becomes a jailer, rather than simply a playmate.

Truth is clearest in the present moment -- setting all stories aside. One cannot perceive or function clearly if they are in service to stories. Stories seem more intended to drive truth than to reveal it. Because without the story, there is no controlling power.

That's why I say: do not believe stories, do not follow stories, and do not create stories -- unless you can clearly remember such creations are not actually a reflection of truth, they are manufacturing/limiting it for a purpose. It is useful (and more empowering) to be able to step aside from stories at any moment, and see with clarity beyond them.

Crazed zealots on the internet can invent as many allegations of fraud as they need to feel justified in claiming an election was rigged, but when the lawyers who have to present the case before the court come to it, they aren't allowed to lie to a judge in the same way that random dickheads on facebook lie to Walker, Can and Henry. Suddenly, the allegations become extremely trivial once there is some risk to lying.

Easily explained. The wokies wanted Trump OUT, no matter what, and came out in force to vote AGAINST him, including the millions of non-resident and absentee voters. It was about voting 'against' someone, rather than 'for' someone else. I doubt if there's any fraud to speak of, at least none that would make an iota of difference to the result. It was expected that mail voting would end up favouring Biden.

Actuarial forensics applied to the known facts does not support that theory.

Neither does the lack of transparency evidenced by baring poll observers.

The only evidence of Trump hatred is the grumbling of outplayed countries, the rantings of left leaning media outlets, the machinations of trough feeding swamp dwellers, and the gullible wokies.

Well, links are a departure point that can be commonly shared for discussion. Plain and simple.

Many links mean many possible departure points, which encourages diverse interests and perhaps discussion for many departure points, or portals to fresh insights, that need not be restricted to those so freely and generously shared.

However, a dialoguer’s unsubstantiated assertions, fueled perhaps by personal belief or childhood experiences now forgotten, don’t afford much of a common departure point for discussion. I mean, it ends up just being one side yammering on about what they believe.

Thus, without links or some personal, rational progression of thought, the dialogue doesn’t get much past the shore, although the deep water is out there, as I recall.

Which is all to say Thread Hostess, you sounded like you could use a link or two, or more.

Sorry about that.

I have an ad blocker. Some sites will block you right back if you have a blocker, but the ad blocker can be shut off, which allows the distractions at your discretion. I just assumed you were hip to that, dude.
