China, Russia, North Korea and Iran Scold US over human rights
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/us ... d=msedgdhp
Now that Trump has pulled us off of the human rights council the shoe seems to be on the other foot while great bastions of democracy and tolerance in the world such as China, Russia, North Korea and Iran scold the US over our human rights record. The theatre of the absurd must be selling admission tickets at the UN now. I wonder how much they are charging and where can I purchase one? Also, do they sell popcorn in the lobby? Does anyone know?

I guess all that really matters for some is if "Orange man" is in office or not. Everything else under the sun is just a side-show.henry quirk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:33 pmmeh...once the team of houseplant & whore take office in jan. everything will be right as rainGary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:21 pm https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/us ... d=msedgdhp

pretty much that was houseplant's/whore's platform: we're not ORANGE MAN!
it worked, didn't it?

The UN IS the theatre of the absurd; and it's always been that, since its inception.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:21 pm The theatre of the absurd must be selling admission tickets at the UN now.

Uhm, they do that all the time. They chided Obama for blowing people up with drones, and Bush when he bombed that wedding party.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:21 pm https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/us ... d=msedgdhp

True. But now we sit only among the accused and not on the council. It seems like we're in a weaker position now.FlashDangerpants wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 10:51 pmUhm, they do that all the time. commies, oligarchs, and islamists love us when our elected folk bow & scrape, when 'murica formally declares itself in twilight
ORANGE MAN trolled those folks for four years, danglin' carrots and wackin' with sticks...their complaints about 'murica's human rights record is just another impotent shakin' of the fist by folks who are happy to see my lill ORANGE butterball gone...they believe quite rightfully the houseplant will bow & scrape and kiss ass...he will...his tongue will be brown from all that sphincter-lickin'
upside is: ain't no one gonna talk bad 'bout 'murica for at least the next two years...well, no one outside of 'murica, anyway

Well, "Orange man" doesn't seem to cooperate well with others, probably including just about every American university intellectual outside of Jerry Falwell's "Liberty University". I would think that ought to tell us all something but apparently, it's not telling everyone the same thing.henry quirk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 1:40 amno, it's very much the topicGary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 10:07 pmThat's wonderful but off the topic of the thread.henry quirk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 5:17 pm I guess all that really matters for some is if "Orange man" is in office or not.

Well, I voted for a Presidential candidate but not for Biden nor for Trump. We'll see what happens in the next 4 years. My hope is that we continue to stay out of wars for a while--hopefully longer. Being approved of by others in the world is not a bad thing. We lost that in Bush's war. I hope that returns along with more investment in American manufacturing and infrastructure. A return to Keynesian economics might help. But the monetarists have been calling the shots for many decades now and it seems to have taken a toll on our infrastructure.henry quirk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 3:29 amit tells us he's not a ball-suckin' commie-lover like smokin' joe biden, the houseplantGary Childress wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 2:27 amWell, "Orange man" doesn't seem to cooperate well with others, probably including just about every American university intellectual outside of Jerry Falwell's "Liberty University".
