I too have smashed all the statues and tore up all the pictures that I had before embracing Islam. Those were my properties and I disposed of them as I wished.
The interesting thing is that none of those statues could protect or defend themselves I smashed them into pieces, nor did they protest.
You make me laugh you people. Anyway, I greatly enjoyed destroying those statues. The pleasure was even multiplied for me because there was a great story behind it and an even greater blessing of Allah, the Almighty in allowing me to destroy those abominations that some people still worship. Let me tell you all about this great story of mine. This will make some of you more angry God willing. Whether you were to subsequently vent your anger or suppress it, it's all the same for me; I really don't care about your little tantrums as you may have already noticed.
It all goes back to when I was about 4 to 6 years old. I was not born in a Muslim family as you all already know. When I was about 4 to 6 years old, I used to mock at the statues that my surroundings used to worship. I already then really hated those abominations. I didn't know why then but it was genuine hate that I couldn't explain back then. I used to walk up to those statues and tell them in a menacing tone: "if you are god, why do you remain here all day? Don't you have better things to do?" Then I would gather some saliva in my mouth to spit in their direction. Once my then Trinitarian mother heard my little monologue and she lightly scolded me! After that I would wait when she was not watching to continue mocking these abominations. But sadly later I went to Trinitarian school and was taught corrupted teachings and became like my surroundings! Worst yet I even learned about the abomination which is nowadays Buddhism and practiced some heedless and useless meditations as well.
But soon after that, my Creator the Most Merciful was to have mercy on me and bring me to the only religion which is accepted in His Sight, namely Islam. I would take some years to fully embrace Islam and finally become Muslim by the mercy of Allah, the Almighty. Still some more years later, after having convinced my family that worshiping idols is not good at all, one day I decided to take all the statues still present in the house that I was raised and went to destroy all of them. I smashed them against rocks one by one with my own hands. None of them protested and none of these statues could defend themselves! It was a great moment to destroy those abominations. I then remembered how I hated them when I was young and finally I was allowed by Most Merciful to destroy those abominations. That was a great gift that God, the Almighty gave me by allowing me to destroy those abominations that were so hateful in my eyes and that I used to mock when I was still a little boy.
To anyone reading this and wanting to destroy statues on his/her property belonging to him/her, I would highly encourage you. This is the tradition of our father Prophet Abraham(peace be upon him) who was not only a Messenger of God the Almighty but he(pbuh) was also an intimate friend of God, the Almighty. Prophet Abraham (pbuh) destroyed the idols and statues of his father and his people. Anyone wanting to follow the tradition of this great Prophet of the Almighty, namely Abraham (pbuh) is highly encouraged to do so. Anyway, now my mom is no longer a Trinitarian as I have succeeded in convincing her of the abomination which is the Trinity and idol worship. I showed her verses from the Bible itself that she gave me when I was a kid to prove my case, and she listened and no more worships those nonsensical abominations which are idols. More and more Christians and other people too are realizing that worshipping idols is nonsense and more and more people are embracing Islam. Even Hindus are realizing that!
