the insufficiency of law

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

the insufficiency of law

Post by Advocate »

Law is clearly an insufficient substitute for actual understanding of right and wrong, just as any version of duty ethics is insufficient - an abdication of morality. So long as law is used as though it is automatically an acceptable surrogate, injustice will always be done.
