what system is dysfunctional? society? there's no dysfunction: there's dynamism, competition, leadin' to vast wastes of time, resources, etc., but the general direction is toward freedom and away from slavery (which is why so many slavers, actual and would-be, are fightin' hard to put a halt to things...they're crabs in the pot)
