Trump - a puzzling enigma
Re: Trump - a puzzling enigma
Furthermore, if Biden loses, we will see some protests( mostly from non whites) around us wilth banners like - not my president. The same what happened last time but all will die down within some days and people will get on with their normal lives.
But, if Biden wins, trump will do everything possible not to leave white house. He has many options available.
He can go to supreme court to declare election null and void because of cheating.
He can militarily attack Iran on China for the reasons available to himin order to find and excuse to declare an emergency.
The reason for all that is that trump does not see him as an ordinary us citizen. He feels that it is his destiny to rule the us forever. He is very much inspired by people like Putin and xi jinping and envies them to see that how they imposed themselves on their countries for their lifetimes. He wants the same thing for him and for his children after him.
He can do all that even now but he is stll convinced that just the last time, the pollsters are getting wrong this time also. The day he realises that he is going to lose, we will see him in action. And, it will be a long choas. Sadly, odds are in favour of that.
With love,
Sanjay

How the heck and from what sound evidences did you make the above speculations? and given that you do not understand much about US politics and its laws.zinnat13 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 6:14 am Furthermore, if Biden loses, we will see some protests( mostly from non whites) around us wilth banners like - not my president. We don't have evidence of how Trump will do because he has not lost the election yet.
However there are solid evidence of how the Democrats and the left will behave from their losing in the last election in 2016.
Note the terrible cognitive dissonance that followed their lost of the 2016 election with the Russian Gate, the indifference to doing any good for the people in co-operating in the House, and real violence from the left and Antifa. These are so evident.
I have not read of any precedents where past US presidents had done any power grab by illegals means after they have lost an election. Perhaps you are relying on evidence from other 3rd world countries. I don't believe it is possible for Trump to grab power given the political situations of the US.
It is also unfortunate you have been brainwashed by the anti-Trump media to be a zombie to hate Trump based on lies rather than objective evidences.
I was duped by the anti-republican medias the last time when Bush was president and I simply detest Bush merely based on the news I read and exposed to.
With Trump I have known quite a bit about him before he was president. Despite being boorish, egoistic, narcisistic and other negative he is not 'evil'. Trump is a high performer and result-oriented leader.
As a non-US citizen you should do sufficient research to obtain objective knowledge rather than rely on fake news media.

Re: Trump - a puzzling enigma
I'm not American, so this isn't my fight. But as an outsider looking in, I'm always amazed that somebody can complain about Trump and choose to ignore completely when the other side does exactly the same thing.
You must know that N. Pelosi, speaker of the house, Democrat, has publicly advocated that Biden should never accept defeat as the result of the election, under any conditions. Moreover, the Democrats are refusing to rule out packing the Supreme Court with new, unprecedented Democratic appointees, if they get the chance. This doesn't sound at all like a party that is ready to accept defeat at the ballot box, but rather, like one that will never accept it.
I agree, Sanjay, that either one would be unethical -- presupposing, of course, that the election is actually accurate (which we don't know will happen, because of mail-in fraud). Both parties should graciously accept the results of a correct, democratic election, and there can be no other moral option. But to pretend only one side is refusing to accept the results would be, at best, ignorant of the facts, and at worst, disingenuous of us. And I trust we are honest men.

Packing SCOTUS will not be a refusal to accept election results. It will be a refusal to accept an inappropriate rush job.

Packing SCOTUS will be with the goal of gaining the leverage for a political party to make policy into law unilaterally, through unelected people, instead of through elected representatives.commonsense wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 2:42 pm Packing SCOTUS will not be a refusal to accept election results.
