I get the role he was playing in that video. It's like every action is a show we put on for our own amusement, to entertain ourself. Where attention is centre stage, and what is shown is seen to be just a meta4 that awakens us to our true nature which is egoless unlimited freedom to be in every moment.
I get that, and so agree.NEW wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:27 pm
But in general, and a bit more "serious" () sidenote ... (I hope I'm wrong)
I'm sensing in general, an evolution towards more narrow mindedness, enclosures within ego's and defensive reactions/polarization.
This while more playfulness can help to bridge the gap a bit, towards more tolerance towards each other.

There is nothing we can do to change the world or the lives of others. As others are each living their own unique path, which is their birth right and none of our business, although the destination is the same place for everyone, which is homelessness their only home, here now, no place, nowhere, where it's always been, and always has been, where nothing ever changed. Home is infinity for eternity right here and now.NEW wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:53 am So what can one do exactly? Nothing much it seems, except perhaps, to follow your own path, be that little strange acting pebble doing it's part.
And although it might not change the course very much, at least you have peace of mind, knowing you did your part, knowing you have listened to your heart.
even if it's "just" shouting: mmkaaaakkkk pffffrrrttt![]()
IMO, people are slaves to what their mind dictates in the moment, being drawn into whatever one is concentrating or giving their attention to whether it be negative or positive thoughts.
I personally never gave a thought to the nondualist part of my being as to being a luxury, but then we're all different in how we think about things.
I wasn't blaming you for anything,I did this small thought experiment around "acceptance" and going too deep in it, like I mentioned before, generates for instance too much passivity:
and out came my moral compass simply automatically, like a spring, rejecting going too deep in it.
I understand.NEW wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 4:16 pm thanks, also here for your feedback,
as mentioned in that other post,

Well, here it is, dam, an apology if needed.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 9:42 amIMO, people are slaves to what their mind dictates in the moment, being drawn into whatever one is concentrating or giving their attention to whether it be negative or positive thoughts.
Be the master, not the slave, of your mind. It has no power other than that which you give it.
I personally never gave a thought to the nondualist part of my being as to being a luxury, but then we're all different in how we think about things.
For me, it's as though i was born to question the authenticity of myself, and that happened really early on in my life, so for me, being a nondual thinker was a natural part of my life journey, in the innate desire to want to discover the truth about myself.
I was able to self inquire quite effortlessly and at the same time raise a family and hold down a full time job, you know, just doing all those humans things that humans do everyday in order to survive and have a life. So being a nondualist just came as one of the many other jobs I was doing, in fact I was very good at being a multi-tasker, but that's just how this character played out, so I have never really known my life to be any other way or be any different than how it played out as i describe it to you.
