I've been doing work to support my community as well as contemplating the opportunity for greater balance and clarity. Do you do either of those things, Veggie, or do you just bitch on this forum and roll your eyes as if you have even half a clue about reality?

People who are in crisis are able to have insights as well. Just because you don't, is not the model for what's possible.

Nice if you can afford it but many just cannot afford the luxury of getting back in touch with themselves as they are facing ruin and possible homelessness.

Of course there are all kinds of positions that people have during this situation. Most everyone, including myself, seems to be severely shaken by all of the tragedy... so I wouldn't exactly call it a "luxury" to be trying to contemplate beyond that. It takes effort and heart to do it, and it's a valuable thing for ALL, that those who can do it, do so. Our reality cannot be defined as only tragedy. What can we realize and how can we become better as a result of tragedy?
