A big chunk of the taxes covers pensions and unfunded mandates promised by politicians.

A portion of what's left over goes to essential services.

On a related note, Trump is wise to that sort of thing, being a CEO. He said that bailouts for companies will not be used for stock buybacks as they were in past, a use that artificially jacks up the stock price to give executives big bonuses and golden parachutes.

For all intents and purposes, it seems that all abortions are elective, or else deemed essential to save the psychological health of the woman. There is a small percentage for medical reasons, I would guess the most common of them being chemo therapy for the mother, but modern medicine has done wonders with childbirth.

Would you say that's what is going on?
