Good lord, you're one of those.

Mannie,is what grinds my gears.
If "the word freedom does not apply to us," then we cannot choose what we do. Men kill stuff. So do women. We can't choose to do anything else, so GIA isn't really in any position to complain about killing.
Fortunately for all of us who have a will, it's not how things are. Even the collectivists do HAVE the will...they've just used it to rationalize abdicating their personal responsibilities. Even then, their responsibility doesn't go away.
Where do you live? Venezuela? Cuba? Soviet Russia? Maoist China?Greatest I am wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 9:20 pm We all have a free will. We just do not have freedom.
We collectively gave it up for security as we did not trust the other guy with freedom.

When did "we" do this "collective giving up"?
To your first, I cannot—and certainly not on the basis of taking pleasure in having a war.Greatest I am wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 5:38 pmHow do you explain our last 5,000 of almost constant war history?commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:41 pm The OP makes the baseless claim that men like to kill other men, and asks why this fallacious claim is true.

Men do in fact kill men. That doesn’t mean men like to.
If killing and war are not our epitome of drama, which we love, what is?

"Heterosexual is not a, "kind," of human being. No one is born an, "anything," other than a being that must choose how to live one's life. Everyone is born with different tastes, proclivities, desires, abilities, etc. but none of them determine what a human being is. Almost everyone has some desires that if indulged would be self-destructive, only some will indulge those desires to their own detriment. Many people have ambitions to achieve things, but only those who choose to follow those ambitions will actually achieve anything.Greatest I am wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 8:06 pm So you being a heterosexual, if that is what you are, is a choice?

It is what one chooses to do with their life that determines what they are. One may choose be anything within the limits of their own ability and physical possibility, including how they will use their biological functions.
The concept of, "sexuality," was invented to cover all variations of sexual dysfunction and to cover up the fact that whatever an individual does, they do because the choose to do it, not because something in their nature makes them do it. No doubt, something makes them want to do it (else they wouldn't), but just wanting to do something is never a good enough reason, alone, to do it, but every individual must choose for themselves how they want to live their life, and whatever they choose is no one else's business.

Could you answer it now?
My point was that there are different kinds of humans but every individual may [and must] choose to be the kind they are, "within the limits of their own ability and physical possibility." One cannot choose to be tall if they are genetically short, or male if they are born female (in spite of what is taught today), but one can certainly choose how they will behave. A preference or desire does not cause anyone to behave in any particular way, they must choose whether or not to indulge that desire on the basis of what is really in their own best interest.Greatest I am wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 2:06 pmA heterosexual is not a gay and thus we can say they are different kinds of humans. So, if you desire to have sex with a female, and you know that female is syphilitic or has the clap, you'll have sex with her just because you feel like a little nooky? I don't believe you would.Greatest I am wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 3:30 pm Given that sex was at issue, if you prefer to a female to a male for sex, that desire will definitely have you behave in a particular way. You will try to find a female partner every time you feel like a little nooky.
