Anhedonia
I am writing because I suffer from anhedonia and looking to connect with other people who suffer who anhedonia. I want to know how people live like this! Has anyone found a cure from it. What do you do to make yourself better when the symptoms make it so hard to make yourself feel better. I need someone to relate with. Please respond!

How do you define 'anhedonia'?Reneebecker0415 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 12:01 pm I am writing because I suffer from anhedonia and looking to connect with other people who suffer who anhedonia. As far as I am aware all adults have an inability to feel pleasure in some previously pleasurable activities.
Is there any activity you do that you feel pleasure in doing?
Or, are you defining 'anhedonia' in some other way?

I'm an idiot, sorry!

Re: Anhedonia
Okay I am the one with the exceedingly low iq, or something. This seems to be the common consensus amongst the majority of the participants within this forum.
Anyway, would you now care to show how you define 'something'? Or do you think it more intelligent that I google that also?
Have you ever considered that the definition I find on google for a word might not be the exact same definition "another" is using for the same word in the context that they are using it?
In case you have missed it I do not like to assume any thing at all. So, inevitably, I am going to ask people for clarification on how they are defining the words that they use. For example, how do you define the 'something' word, in the context you wrote it? You did after all write a sentence with the 'something' word in that had a question mark at the end. If you want me to answer a question posed to me, then I need to know what it is exactly you are asking.
While we are discussing asking clarifying questions, did you notice you wrote three statements each with a question mark on the end.
Now, considering that those sentences are not written in question form, I would just like to clarify, (because I do not like to assume any thing), are you posing questions to me which you would like me to answer, or, are you just telling me what I do, from your perspective?
If it is the former, then you have to put sentences into question form. That is; if you want me to give you answers.
If, however, it is the latter, then you have to be aware that your perspective could be totally wrong?
Your clarification here will help me and the readers considerably.

Okok!! I'm SORRY!!! ..I was too trigger happy, just that I'm too used to people that can't google things themselves, I've reread your 1st posts and now saw that you actually know the word but just needed clarification of which aspect of it, I'm ashamed of myself and thank you for your nice answer to my stupid post!
