what is "Right"?

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

what is "Right"?

Post by DPMartin »

What is “right” (as in right/wrong), why should it be valued? And is it really valued? Is right only valued if it be beneficial in a certain circumstance or situation? (as in wrong is ok if it gets you what you want)

Or is right valued as a pursuit?

It just occurred to me that most people in the USA elections vote for the right-wing party, the Republicants, because the electors falsely assume that being right wing, means they are all right, they are doing the right things. Whereas the libtards are doing the left things.

Don't dismiss this. Half of your nation is so dumb that I wouldn't put the above past them.

it's generally understood that the French Revolutionary era was where the terms Left-wing politics and Right-wing politics first originated. though ignorance of the facts applies here in your posting, most Americans would still consider it indicating stupidity, or dullness of comprehension, the same thing.

Ignorance? You mean, the Democrats are the right wing, and the Republicants, the left?

Boy, was I ever ignorant until now. I tell everyone you corrected me.

Old Norse joke: (from mythological times) What's the difference between a bird? Both of its wings are the same, especially the left.
