Wow, that was an amazing video. I'm pretty agnostic on the climate change debate but this is a really chilling remidner of how big scientific ideas gain credence and public support - and how it can have nothing to do with the data.

I thought a very interesting bit was in part 1 when he listed some quoues from 'Why We Disagree About Climate Change'. The way in which climate change can become a very deep narrative about how to understand and direct human conduct is fascinating, and the signs that it has transcended the science into an ethical, political and even spiritual movement is right before our eyes. All my friends are environmentalists now, just conventional people having serious discussion over which brands to buy, where to shop etc. Reminds me of this:
