What defines a god and who/what is God?
Please explain.
My personal view of a god is, the basic movement of the universe, i don't think god is a sentient being or beings. Just a concept that we have created to explain, and give a form to. So that we universally as humans can relate to... I do believe there is a universal force or forces, at work, there has to be?

What do you mean with "change is constant"? How does your conclusion follow from your single premise?
"We are minds experiencing and causing illusion." How does your conclusion follow From this single premise? (I am not playing word games, take it as is.)

I am sorry, but this doesn't make much sense to me...

Is god "the basic movement of the universe" or "Just a concept"?

If god is "just a concept" then why would one die and die again - to become a concept (= a thought pattern)?
If god is "the basic movement of the universe" then I am already (a) god as I move all the time - there is no standstill - change is a constant (maybe the only constant?)

Also, I am still not clear on what the original poster meant with God (capital G) - what's the difference between god and God?

The relevance of the above is related to the following;
Reincarnation is the philosophical or religious concept that an aspect of a living being starts a new life in a different physical body or form after each biological death. It is also called rebirth or transmigration, and is a part of the Saṃsāra doctrine of cyclic existence.
-wiki
Reincarnation is a major principle of Hinduism.
The above wiki article mentioned Buddhism which is rebirth not reincarnation and this rebirth is contentious within Buddhists.

In Hinduism [generally] the soul [amidst God] transmigrate from one physical body to the next spiritually evolved body till it becomes god [pure atman] and ultimately merges with God [Brahman], like a drop of H20 merges and is lost into the one ocean of H20.

I don't think the above is applicable to the Abrahamic religions.

My point:
Note,
God is an Impossibility

So the OP is nonsense but I don't deny it can bring necessary real psychological comfort to believers.

Hi Alex, I have just read my own post. Point taken, I could of worded it better, sorry bud.. What I was trying to say was, I think that god(and I mean universal forces, gravity, particles the fact that matter exists). And that in order for us to describe this we as humans around the world have come up with the concept of God..

OK, I get your point, thanks.
Seems that "the concept of god" is more and more replaced by what we call "science"...

I don't think that this is what the OP means though... why would one have to die and die to become a god through God...?

One should clarify what the "I" is that has to die to become a god.

My take on this:
God tells Moses (Exodus 3:14): I am that "I am"
Meaning: Once the conditioned/acquired/conceptual "I am XYZ" dies (is seen through) and one is "born" into the pure/wordless "I am" then "One Becomes a god" (or better: one sees that: "I am" is not different to "god" - as such there is no "becoming" a god, the pure "I am" is what we call god).
Also: The body has nothing to do with this - the death is a death of the acquired self/ego, it's not a physical death at all.

The premises of this thread reminds me of an old joke.

I think you have a point, science was created because people wanted to explain god's work, then as science progressed and challenges the religious rules set down by whatever god or god's that religion have. Then suddenly science became the devil's or demons work...the divide was created..now sceince is the new religion.. nowadays depending on the place you live, if you are religious people you our viewed as weird! I myself am not religious, or follow a specific faith..but I do believe in a higher force or something! I really do think tho that science and religion should be walking hand in hand tho..
I know that is a broad statement, and a bit idealistic of me, because different religions have different views..
