Until tonight....

Post by Dalek Prime »

.... I had no idea that cats freak out at the sight of cucumbers, presumably mistaking them for snakes or lizards. Fancy that.

Oh yeah, while I'm thinking of things I didn't know, I also hadn't realised until about a month ago that the colour chartreuse was a very light green. For some reason, I always imagined it to be something in the violet range of colour. Wow, was I wrong.

Until last night's dream, I hadn't realized how very much my extended family and my brother has considered me a complete disaster, a family catastrophe, a calamity of biblical proportions.

And I realized this by dreaming last night, that the family (especially two central and influential members) published a book in which they wrote down precisely how impossible it has been to live with me, and how impossible a person I am. The names have been slightly altered, but it was all in there, from their perspective, which was only a little bit different from my version of my life, but boy, that little difference created a world of a difference for the reader.

So I decided to write my version of the story of my life.

Then I woke up, and the impression remains, but the reality of publishing, etc., is not there.

Oh, well, at least I don't have to write any books.

---------------------

Dalek, cats are not stupid. I don't think they mistake the cucumber for a snake. They are intelligent animals, and they figure the right thing, that cucumbers are huge, erect, turgid, horrible, throbbing man-things, ready to attack the poor animal himself and split him into two from behind.

Cats, after all, are very sexual animals, and according to the bible, they were the ones that invented sex in the first place. Or not? Then I am wrong. Again.

Dalek, have you ever given yourself to thought, what puce may look like?

When you said Puce, I ran the gamut of what I thought it might be, and I mistook it for Ecru or something similar, though I had never heard the name Ecru either. Vermillion doesn't make sense, as vert is green.

Snake, lizard, penis. Same thing, different colour lol!

You think you're a difficult person to live with, -1-? You should see me. I'm a lost cause, and I've pissed off the patron saint of lost causes.

Tell me about those who are not lost causes. What are they like?

Do they have a university education and wear corporate garb to their respectable jobs where they meet their respectable spouses and produce high achieving heterosexual ever-smiling and good-hearted offspring who then go on to spawn more of their accursed kind?

I lost my cause. too, somewhere along the way...

...as Neil Young sings in "Cortez the Killer", "And she living there... and she loves me to this day... I don't know where or when... or how I lost my way." it's a song about the innocent Indians who were slaughtered by Cortez for two reasons: they were not Christians, and Cortez wanted gold. More than anything else in this world.

Ask Walker to show you his, if you want to get a glimpse into a life well lived, Greta.

Huh.

I've seen that happen when threads get too serious.
When threads get too technical.
When threads get too mean.

Not often when they get too goofy.

Perhaps other factors are in play.

What? Have i entered some dimension where cucumbers cannot be confused with dildos...even by a cat?
I'm just trying to determine whether the cucumber was mistaken for a snake, or whether the pussy thought it saw a dildo too large for its liking.

goofier...as i kick back on my lounge wondering whether The Orville should have a spaceship shaped like a spaceship.
