Always the hostility towards and blind denial of what the psych remains closed to. It is the way of the world as well. As foolish as it seems, only the minority within society who will have awakened to the reality of the human condition can offer our species hope. Yet as history has proven, they will be the most hated.

Always the ignorance you preach from your blind denial and hostility towards the world. Put your foolish soapbox away. Nobody gives a crap about your dualistic sob story, and your tired imagining of yourself being part of some awakened minority. If you weren't insane, you would realize what a ding dong you are. Yet, as history has proven, you don't seem capable of anything else, nor of directing your energy in an effective direction suitable for accomplishing anything you've been ranting about for years.Nick_A wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:14 am Always the hostility towards and blind denial of what the psych remains closed to. Just a rant. No logic, no thought, no meaning. Just a mindless attack. But this is what has happened to modern philosophy. That is why we can truthfully say the only thing that has been resolved in the world as a whole is "yo momma sucks."Lacewing wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:42 amAlways the ignorance you preach from your blind denial and hostility towards the world. I was answering Reflex’s question, figuring the thought would flow in the context without a quote.Nick_A wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 5:36 pmYou've described the purpose of and the necessity for BS. Without this virtually essential substance, existence and the recognition that it doesn't fit would be intolerable for all those trapped in a dualistic mindest. That is why it must be continually defended and supported. Without BS making it fit, modern man may well be doomed.Walker wrote: ↑Wed Sep 05, 2018 4:19 pmWell, a good philosophy should make it all fit.
If something doesn’t fit then it’s either back to the drawing board or it’s add another layer of complexity to make it fit, more abstraction upon the template. Complications quickly arise in the foundation if a misfit piece is an iconic premise cast in concrete.
Harassment is like memories. Some memories do you good, some don't.
Reflex:
"What must be in order for what is to be as it is?"
Answer:
It all has to fit.
You created another context, which is also interesting.

All of philosophy is dualistic. Philosophy requires thought, which is dualistic.
Re: What’s The Most Important Question, and Why?
Agreed on both counts. To me, the doctrine of divine simplicity is foundational because it fits nicely with what must be, but the part about philosophy being dualistic is also true.Walker wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 3:45 am

The sea will be the sea, whatever the drop's philosophy...

From the simple philosophy derives the complex philosophy.Reflex wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 8:46 amAgreed on both counts. Same as evolution.
I think science has a way of explaining how simple-to-complex fits with entropy.
Also:
A realistic-style painting requires 100% painter, 0% witness.
That’s rather totalitarian.
Other styles, such as abstract expressionism, vary in proportion of the painter to witness which comprises a whole painting, or photo, or statue, or novel.
Because of witness involvement, the realistic style is less complex.
For example, melodic language engages an additional dimension of the witness, leading the witness to choicelessly construct a simulacrum within a non-intellectual dimension of experience that varies in detail from witness-to-witness, a diversity which naturally changes the numerator of the ratio that comprises reality. Re: What’s The Most Important Question, and Why?
One of the most important questions which have tormented mankind virtually from the beginning. Philosophy, religion, and psychology have all wrestled with the problem and sought the solution. But regardless what the experts come up with, still the question raises its ugly head always at the wrong time.In one of the most outrageous acts of Grandmaster chess ecsentricity ever, Grandmasters Aron Nimzovich ("My System") and Friedrich Samisch went head-to-head in the last round of the classic 1925 Baden-Baden Tournament, just outside Berlin, with first place hanging in the balance.
Upon the game's ending,,, when the superior Nimzovich was about to be mated, he suddenly jumped up onto a table,, got down on his knees and screamed,,,
"Why must I lose to this IDIOT!?"
Will modern education finally reveal the answer to this ancient question or will mankind have to continue to endure the sufferings of this question? Only time will tell

Since words written in water soon dissolve anyway and since a clear line of direction isn’t all that critical when aiming at the ocean, target practice allows no harm in going with what you know if it’s an honest go since that can often shake something new or perhaps even unknown out of the tree.
