There are ways of putting oneself in a happy mood though.

Listening to music, classical music in my case.

Remembering some cherries. Dwelling upon them.
Making sweet projects.

I had forgotten that you were not in good health these days, and didn't mean to bring longevity up to make you think about it.

Life and longevity are common themes everywhere. There is no reason to be concerned about bringing it up. It's the human thing to do because in that respect we're all in the same dinghy floating in an infinite sea.

I do that a lot from light to as heavy as it gets starting from the 11th century.

A viable wish only when the cherries are sweet.
