Being able to make someone laugh can make a person very attractive regardless of their looks.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:22 amI think looks takes precedence over personality in forming a relationship although both are needed. When you first meet someone, chances are strong it was looks that helped to cement a relationship, not the ability to make you laugh.

Studies indicate otherwise that looks take precedence.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 1:49 amBeing able to make someone laugh can make a person very attractive regardless of their looks.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:22 amI think looks takes precedence over personality in forming a relationship although both are needed. You were asking about a 'good match', not what initially attracts.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:26 amI knew you'd be asking. Check the internet.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:17 amWhich studies?Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 1:54 am

That, and being comfortable without having to speak all the time, and being able to do your own thing while they do theirs.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 16, 2018 11:10 pm The only truly successful relationships I've seen have been where one, or both, makes the other laugh. Imagine having someone who makes you laugh often. What more could anyone ask for?
Actually, I just realised that my philosophy is indeed humour and laughter.

Re: In a relationship, what is a good match?
A good match is between those things that balance, the spheres must balance for the system to continue! So as with humans, one must be willing to share their knowledge as well as listen and understand the other. Listening and understanding is of paramount importance, so that balance can be maintained. If the relationship has to do with the earth as a system, then balance is also of key importance. All must understand that equilibrium should be the thought of the day. Though tougher, it's just as important to tighten ones belt as it is to loosen it.

Look constantly laughable, and you've got a partner for life.

Studies show you are wrong. Studies show that you are always wrong. Check the Internet if you don't believe me.

Google "Do looks affect a relationship?" There are articles that back what I say.-1- wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 4:17 pmI checked the Internet. You're wrong, Phil.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:26 amI knew you'd be asking. Check the internet.

Re: In a relationship, what is a good match?
Google "you're wrong, Phil" there will be at least one study with this conclusion.
