Freedom of Religion

Freedom of Religion
If we have as an end value and live in altruist-democracy.
Religions with contrary values cannot be tolerated.
The term that is applicable is, as ever that of Tolerance.
Freedom as an isolated value is ethically ambiguous.

not so. Satanism is affirm as a religion.

as long as there is not social harm - babies being killed - all theologies/religions are affirmed as legal and valid.

Sure, just grind them up into caviar. Why should roe be limited to fish eggs?

It depends on the contrary values. As gaffo says, "are they lawful?".

People form all sorts of groups that adopt their own values. Without contrary values society stagnates, which is one of the best aspects of federalism as opposed to single state control - many ideas being batted about. As things stand, theistic prejudice and superstitions are still impacting on public policy to the detriment of the many.

The old theist boys' support network keeps theists consistently better represented in governments than others so there is a historical distortion, a bias, in our governments. Thus, not only are religions free, but they are tax-free. Thus, the rest of us are forced to pay to support theist superstitions.

Sucked in, eh?

Forced to pay is only supported by convoluted mental gymnastics, quite unlike the reality of being forced to subsidize abortion providers through direct taxation. No one is forced to support churches through direct taxation.
