Silly Questions
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDgsVELIiTA
This satirical video portrays a questioner asking one silly question after another.
Hearing them turns attention towards silly questions.
When this happens, silly questions begin to reveal themselves, as they manifest in reality.
(Level two: what to do, when the silly question rears its head.)
Caution: any question that isn’t good begins to sound silly, and this can illicit, err, make that elicit, silly answers that help to perpetuate a silly cycle, shifting perspective to silly rather than a more sobering view, namely, this is your only precious life.
Any questions, comments, parallel thoughts arcing, feelings, beliefs, discussion, rationality or hearsay?

Re: Silly Questions
This video just goes to prove it is silly to argue with an attractive woman. Who knows what you may lose by doing so.Walker wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 2:35 pm Recently expressed sentiments from independent sources sparked a bit of contemplation.

Re: Silly Questions
Silly questions are a serious matter.
Is the loss you mention, the loss of the possibility to use her body for pleasure (or loss of her conversation for comic material, or loss of her dubious interview skills), after patronizing and tolerating her, kind of like what the man in the video did by being very passive, non-assertive, amused, and kind?

Re: Silly Questions
Pivot.
Q: Mr. Dog Catcher, you've been rumored to have mutilated 37 dogs. When you were asked about this last week, you said, "I do what I do." Now that you've weathered a social media hurricane, can you tell us what you meant by that?
A: Dogs have always been an important part of my life, but the real question is how do you make sure that the Dog Catcher election is held fairly and in accordance with Amendment V of the U.S. Constitution as well as the Geneva Accord of 2002. Back then you couldn't even hold an election for County Elevator Inspector without the approval of the Agenda Oversight Committee, and we all know how hard that is. Say you're a Republican, or even a Democrat for that matter, and you just got your degree in Philosophy with a minor in Agriculture, and that's not easy, either, I remind you, then right away you try to run for CEI, then BAM, you get trounced by someone who has no previous experience with oversight except for a blood drive in 1962. And what is a blood drive anyway but a campaign to collect blood from donors who don’t even know the difference between a monocyte and a leukocyte. I tell you, we need more people who do what they do and know what they know. Right?

I think the absurd is very important, if only to keep me sane.... Know what I like doing? Calling to people trying to cross the street, and when they look, telling them to pay attention to traffic, and not me.
(Of course I first ensure they are not in danger when I do it.)
Not really on topic, but I wanted to share.

Relax. You have the authority to bend the topic in the direction you would like it to go.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 2:43 am I think the absurd is very important, if only to keep me sane.... We are not dogmatic, well, not always.
You never know what might happen.
Just be alert for question marks.
Folks sometimes ask the silly question:
“Self, did I fall asleep and the world changed, or did I dream the world I remember?”
Logic indicates that this can independently occur to more than one because an accumulation of similar circumstances eventually adds up to similar reactions, albeit in different times and places, for sentient human beans functioning within a finite range of observation.
