It raises issues such as a way to cheat death (if a violent criminal killed someone who can be restored to life, what should we do with the criminal?)

Cloning would be nothing more than the “slightly delayed” birth of the cloned person’s twin – a completely new soul.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 2:12 am We're at the point where a human being can be cloned.

_______
Cloning could not be reincarnation because the cloned and the other can co-exist. Also, I don't think that the spirit of the one cloned and the clone is the same. Also, clones age very fast. Human clones - no way. Cloning is not a good idea, in fact it's a very bad idea.Philosophy Explorer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 2:12 am We're at the point where a human being can be cloned.
