Why are you opposed to teaching kids reasonable precautions to avoid unwanted pregnancies and STDs?
A human education includes teaching about sex and sex energy. The fact that secular education is ignorant of both, how can it be expected to teach sex education? If some girl approaches a secular teacher and asks what all the fuss is about sex, Why all these prohibitions? What difference does it make who I screw? what will they say? What does page 36 in the manual say? So if secular educators are incapable of sex education there is nothing else to teach but techniques beginning with the proper way to put a condom on a cucumber. And you wonder why kids turn to drugs!

So what would the "human education" teacher say?

Could be a valuable lesson, the cucumber may be covered in pesticides.
And you wonder why kids turn to drugs!
For someone who behaves like a kid you don't seem to have much insight into what motivates them.

You are really astonishingly ignorant. You think that's all sex education involves? Teaching kids how to put a condom on a cucumber? And all the trained professionals who teach sex ed -- they are just ignorant of the subject matter, yeah? Better to have someone like you teach the kids? What would you teach them, Nick?

So the bottom line is that you have no idea of what beneficial sex education consists of much less how it is incorporated into other facets of education. Don't feel bad. The secular experts don't either.

Hey, Nick, why don't you be specific for once? How would YOU teach sex ed? Details, please! Also, how do you like how they teach it in Norway? Lucky kids there!

I have to admit that the kids would probably consider it a beneficial diversion to be able to practice their shagging technique in the middle of double maths.

It isn't a matter of how I would teach it but rather how it is taught in secular education. So far we know student learn the proper technique for putting a condom on a cucumber but what else is included?

They seem to be making a decent job of it in Norway. Besides, you don't seem to have any idea of how it should be taught.

You seem to be fixated on the cucumber.

The ways to have sex and enjoy sex. Human anatomy and physiology . Learn to talk about sex without embarrassment. Parenthood. Contraception. Safe sex. Sexual taboos. Legal and illegal sex. Sexual morality. Sexual arousal: its physical and mental aspects.

Relating to others of the same sex, and different sex, is arguably best learned in a mixed sex, all genders, equal opportunities school where kindness and decency towards others is the aim.

That all sounds very sensible and reasonable, it will be fascinating to see what he finds objectionable about it.

You've listed topics. For example you mentioned sexual taboos. Suppose a student asks why we have sexual taboos and why should anyone pay attention to them. How will secular sex education reply?

I suppose you would reply with a quote from Simone Weil and leave the kid even more confused.

Oh, no? Why isn't it matter of how you would teach it, Nick? As you've made clear, you are an enlightened soul (though notably devoid of grace, charity, wit and humor and prone to whining) whereas we are all shackled in Plato's Cave under the hoof of The Great Beast! So tell us poor benighted sods the RIGHT way to teach sex ed! You'll notice that the Norway video didn't even use a cucumber. What did you think of it?
