Poetry here.
Re: Poetry here.
I climbed up the church
And jumped off
A leap of faith thought I
The ground opened up
And swallowed me whole
I had gone through religion
That man-made false floor
Looking for a new reason I found art
And with this did I create a meaning to life
And jumped off
A leap of faith thought I
The ground opened up
And swallowed me whole
I had gone through religion
That man-made false floor
Looking for a new reason I found art
And with this did I create a meaning to life

Employing the Method of Science
Between the heaven of eagle soar
And the water world where funny fish leap
Drifters awaken on a sandy shore
For awhile, refugees from the deep
Philosophy flavors the natural lore
Found in sound reason and sound sleep
Sounder and stronger than waves of roar
On beaches where mothers weep
Those who survive find the PN door
Ajar, for the light to keep
Away the darkness of the boar
And brother bore, the black sheep
Whose only path is war
Awakening to baaa humbug after the nightly peep
That witnesses heard as snore
And those who drove the jeep
The ride that's learned for adore
Heard as only a beep
Though in meaning was found the more
Than the dream of a rusty heap
Once shiny and new to the core
Pure in nature with only life pleasure to reap
When walls fall down and find floor no more
Into life true motions will seep
Between the heaven of eagle soar
And the water world where funny fish leap
Drifters awaken on a sandy shore
For awhile, refugees from the deep

I want drugs
codeine is somewhat of a dove
i dont want a crow
i want a raptor from above
to rip my mind apart
i hate every man that i meet
i hate every man that speaks
i hate their condescension that leaks
i hate their piss ant pawn when it peaks
i'll take them down till they're flawed
where there is death there is no law
their logic furnishes the floor
my soles were my parents door
worn out and scorned
now i am soul less

That's got some muscle. Some trigger words.
a. Thought must fit the chains of language (rhyming).
b. Language must fit the chains of thought (free verse).
Q: Why do painters frame a painting?
A: Because only mind can frame the world.

Beautiful girl on the train
Your hair tied-back so sweetly
Your hands
Your lips
Your dress
Your eyes
So piercing and brilliant

Your hands
Your lips
Your dress
Your eyes
So piercing and brilliant

To where do you travelPluto wrote:Beautiful girl on the train

Oh beautiful girl
With your hands
With your lips
With your dress and your eyes
And your hair tied back so sweetly
Which I almost forgot about
Is a quick shag out of the question
Oh beautiful girl
Before your station
Before you become just a beautiful memory
Before I have a beautiful accident in my pants

Perhaps she just wants to sit there in peace and go about her business without being perved at by some weirdo.Pluto wrote:Beautiful girl on the train

I completely agree, VT, that's exactly the point I was trying to make when I finished Pluto's poem for him.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: Perhaps she just wants to sit there in peace and go about her business without being perved at by some weirdo.

It's too late now, Pluto, the cat's out of the bag. You should get help before it gets out of hand.Pluto wrote: You horrendous cracker - you don't know me - that position is in your feeble and sick mind

It’s something that occurred to me while pondering the rhymes.attofishpi wrote:Are these two points yours of from anywhere in particular?
*
A strapping young man from Kent
Asked directions wherever he went
He asked of a girl
The name of her squirrel
And she said, I call him Rodent
*
Beaver Cleaver was a boy on TV
When rabbit ears were needed to see
His head was so big
That his dad danced a jig
Because insurance comped the delivery

There was a young girl from Kentucky
Who started out lean, lithe and plucky
She discovered a D, an M and a c
And ended up gross and quite yukky.
Re: Poetry here.
In Pooh they call him a Roo
You can find one in every zoo
Big tail and soft pouch
Not one of them a slouch
Svelte pelt warming all but a few

Yea i like punchy rhymey stuff -here is another i wrote probably while rather plonked. - its a real play on the English Lan-guage.
(apart from a little French 'Je' and slang 'sus')
ENCRYPTED KNOWS DIVE
Snorting cyphered bits
encrypted knows dive
ride with me
sus me,
as Je sus IT
REAL_IT_Y
Why?
The pI in the sky?
Pi Seas
The final zodiac
riding the light
revealing the truth
the ultimate system
the ultimate clue?
If i sus the system
crack the code
reveal the Truth
move some load
see it as i c
logic is my T
REAL..IT..Y
the English LANguage
is more of a GAUGE
a LAN perhaps
i'll reveal its traps
part_Y? Y_trap?
U like to party?
go ahead
life is cheap
leep some time
have a sleep
the S is sin
wave that is
good buy
and die
what is Y
and what is U
U O Y?
you.
Embedded we are
evolved of IT
derived, convoluted
suckled from tit
If i could speak of
this 'system'
as it were
and answer a
quest.ion
white noise
a blur
thats where IT
came from
im on my knees
i am its spawn
i am in awe
that from chaos
i was formed
sorry for hating
sorry for scorn.
