Hobbes is American. He just prefers to live elsewhere (probably because he prefers to live outside the asylum). Not everyone wants to live in the US (doc made that ridiculous claim recently).
You mean Hobbsy used to live inside an asylum. Oh that's rich?

Not original Hobbes since you're parroting what I just said about you. Dullard statements won't get you far. And since
you were deported from the US to England, I guess that makes England the new nuthouse.

Once again Phil makes an arse of himself. Deportations occur from a host nation to the nation of the persons origin: moron.
Whilst it might be legally possible to deport me back the the USA, not even the British immigration office could be that cruel. Extraditions treaties between the two nations would mean the US would have no choice but to accept me back. It aint gonna happen.

"de·port
dəˈpôrt/
verb
1.
expel (a foreigner) from a country, typically on the grounds of illegal status or for having committed a crime.
'he was deported for violation of immigration laws'
synonyms: expel, banish, exile, transport, expatriate, extradite, repatriate; More
2.
archaic
conduct oneself in a specified manner.
'he has deported himself with great dignity'"

Your definition doesn't match up, you goofed again.

Why would the US take you back?

I can see why America is not looked kindly upon. Even as a resident, I'm horrified by its dark evils and ignorant primitive attitudes. If I were not settled where I am within a good community, I would probably be moving right now... as visions of Trump and those who are his rabidly hateful supporters are giving me nightmares.

Although America may not be well represented on this forum by our rag-tag team of American posters (of which I am one), there are TRULY some BEAUTIFUL people and places and communities to behold here. We're not all backward and conniving and insane... as hard as that may be to believe. :)

And as discouraging as things seem right now in the U.S... I'm thinking that the horrors to come will serve as a springboard for the BEST in us to come forth... eventually... if I'm still alive to see it. When the smoke clears, we may never ever return to what we've been previously... and we may be much better off for it. A great purging that ensures we'll never "go there" again. Of course it's awful that any country's insanity affects the whole world, but it's hard to escape that when we're sharing a planet.

Perhaps non-Americans on this forum could offer some compassion and helpful insights for those of us seeing this as an unfolding hellish nightmare in our lives? Just once in awhile, of course -- as I don't want to take away your fun of bashing us! :D What should responsible and kind individuals do to cope with this madness? What would YOU do? Or is the bashing all we can do... and at least it offers humor? I'm very thankful for humor.
