I've changed this forum.

Single-handedly I added rich content, progressive views and and a joyous, artistic way of posting.

In the past members here discussed dead philosophers in a boring, self-rightjous way.

Today, we realize that we here at the PhilosophyNow Forums are jointly participating in the most important philosophical discussion that mankind has ever created. This is the largest philosophy forum. This is the BEST philosophy forum ON THE PLANET. Period.

This is a dance. Start moving. I will show you how!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder:

According to this diagnostic manual, NPD is present when at least five of the following criteria are met:

has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
requires excessive admiration
has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

You are a fucking idiot to think that you are the only one dancing -- or that any of us NEED YOU to show us how to do anything. Your narcissist disorder is so over the top, it suggests that you must be compensating for being in a very deep, dark hole. Why don't you find the awareness and courage to crawl out of that and recognize the value of everyone else before you say anything further.

My god it's like groundhog day.

Do you just have these clips stored so you can cut-paste them?

What is a dance? But with your weight and heart condition I'd advise you not to. Plus that tache might make people think the village people have come out of retirement.

Workin on it...

More to the point of this thread - I noticed you again used large font to make, what you believe to be, an important point in another thread.

Well done. We'll do baby steps for a while & as I stated earlier you will soon have the confidence to start a philosophically related thread.

Stick with me my young minion.

I have the confidence just not the inclination.
Stick with me my young minion.[/size].
Why on earth would I do that? You're just a self-serving gnu.

Gnu - means GOD. GOD of information.

I won't argue if that is the praise that you continually wish to heap upon me.

Got to admit...it's tuff not letting this type of adoration get to me so - THANK YOU!

Does it? I thought it meant this,

"Gnu(noun) - a budding guru, now-a-days most usually found upon the Interweeb seeking acolytes.
Can be identified by their utterance of meaningless or contradictory aphorisms and vague and meaningless nonsense about a hidden 'Truth' or 'Reality' always just out of reach. Common traits, an inability to answer sentences with question marks, acute selective reading ability, massive belief confirmation bias, ad-hominen psycho-babble and a complete inability to walk their talk or even talk their walk. Be wary of such beasts. Preventative vaccination advised, i.e. a study of Philosophy, in particular a dose of critical philosophy and Logic as practiced in Philosophy now-a-days."
I won't argue if that is the praise that you continually wish to heap upon me.
If you think this praise then I heap it upon you.
Got to admit...it's tuff not letting this type of adoration get to me so - THANK YOU!
Sure it is.
