The English Premier League - whos your team?
Im interested in the teams if any that you chap\esses follow and why?
Mine's Southampton - "the saints" because i was born there - i remember when i was four and in my mothers arms at the end of our street when we won the FA cup - all the colours and the open top double decker bus that went past with the players waving.
A good friend of mine goes for Liverpool who i just watched play Swansea - i wont reveal the score as i know some may need to watch later - what a high energy game tho!

I am not a Scouser but I would absolutely love Liverpool to win the Premiership this season. Because twenty six
years is a very long time to have to wait for the major domestic trophy. But they really should have won it two
years ago when they won twelve of their final fourteen games and scored a hundred goals in the season as well

When I was 6 I wanted a Leyton orient t-shirt, which is red. The shop had none so they offered the kit for my local kid's team - which was the shitty mustard yellow Wolves kit. I was mightily disgustivated and demanded they at least find me a red t-shirt. So that was how this Londoner became a Manchester United fan.
The choice was coincidentally wise, as any fule kno that everyone who doesn't care much about football supports MU.

I watched a game of soccer once. After 90 minutes the score was nil all. Haven't watched another game since.

I watched my team last night play Leicester - the score 0 - 0 ...but it was a high energy game and for the entire time you are pretty much on the edge of your seat.Ginkgo wrote:I watched a game of soccer once. After 90 minutes the score was nil all. Haven't watched another game since.
Now take Australian Rules Football - which i have played and still follow a little - there is usually a barrage of goals and quite often the game is so one sided and the goals are just - uh! yep another goal woopee..
