After a Nietschean Expression on a book I am reading Superman Nietczche
Superman
is perfect
has it all
got it sussed
reigns over us
philosophers kings
with perfect qaulifications
perfectd lives
(but Rousseau was deviant in matters of love and care)

Re: Poetry Bin
And now for a love poem
Fear of the Unknown
In the end of all times
I find i'm sat
like a rat gnawing on bones
then with shock turned to stone
as my eyes peer intent
upon the direction of noise
unknown emanation
ominous elation
as I stare into darkened distance
ever seeking with eyes peeking
into blinded oblivion cast as a curtain down a-front my eyes
as I ponder:
'do I affront the skies?'
hellbent upon my damnation, it seems
these rolling reams of events
cascading demolishing as they're parading
unfolding all existance
until only I and dust are left
lonely cut upon with rust in the wounds
and rolled back lips a-snarling
my teeth bared unfurling
in vicious mindless response given once
to this danger noise
then quickly lost in panic,
what is this new and vague unknown thing
past horizon atop the hills in yonder land far from here where I stand?
Tentative and with caution
I pick a route through the cauldron
of blackened contorted shells of buildings
and anon I alight atop the hills
where I can sight the thing
that to this place I did bring
by mere dint of wish it was a piece of pish,
in hindsight, in the end,
to find some company amidst this empty dish

If you want you can hear me reading that last poem out HERE, look for the orange box with the green arrow that says 'Download Now!'

Hi Psy...so nice to see you again. You are the way I see myself if I would have been born male....I told you that once...didn't I? Anyway, this audio was like a stark blast of cold water being thrown in my face. When did you grow up? And...STOP IT! Where is the baby I wanted to take to Disneyland and adorn with Disney paraphernalia?
All Sticky and sweet...wiping his face with a napkin I so lovingly wet with my spit...

AS, I don't want to jump the gun...
but I may have found love
For the first time, I actually believe it..

Re: Poetry Bin
Heres one from my archives
Where Have I Been?
Where have I been, where will I go
Seems some day I might know
When I get there, when I leave
Once I've given and received
When my oats are sewn
My kids are grown
I'll look on as I pass by
Taking leave intoo the sky.

Re: Poetry Bin
Hi Psy,
P: I may have found love
AS: I am so happy for you! (trying to remember if I've given you "The Talk" yet
)
P:For the first time, I actually believe it..
AS: That's all you need...is to believe it...and poof it's there. See how easy?
P:If I haven't...
AS: If you haven't what?
I have been thinking about the shock of hearing your voice all day. I don't know why...but I expected it to be a teen's voice..not a man's. In this medium it seems that time stands still...I know logically that it doesn't...nevertheless...the illusion is shattered and I find myself oddly in mourning for that kid I heard in my mind...a kid that never existed. Weird.
Anyway...now my painting of your essence doesn't seem to fit...now I will have to think...did you see it?

Re: Poetry Bin
I did, I was looking for it earlier but couldn't find the thread, pls link
TBH, I have always had a deep voice.
I was one of those kids who has a disconcertingly deep voice.
As a scouser I should be speaking fairly high pitched, maybe at some point I will record my impression of a scouse scally for you guys

Well, I have to admit one thing...now your poem has life. It just didn't sound right imagining it being read with a kid's voice. It definitely makes more sense now.
Still...who are you and what did you do with my baby?

Re: Poetry Bin
*hugs*
I'm still here, I have always been and hope I will always be a child, gazing upon the world in naked wonder at its searing thunderous being.
Its all new to me.
Newer by the day.
Don't disabuse me of my innocence, it isn't gone yet
