~ Welcome All Active Members - I Remain Your Leader ~

Post by Bill Wiltrack »

.

It is a pleasure to see this forum, and a growing number of it's active members, expand their universe.

I applaud
the growing number of PhilosophyNow members who have taken the higher, more complete road in your philosophical development by including images and GIFs into your posts.

As a growing number of us are beginning to understand, Images speak directly to our brains in a way pure literal thought cannot.

The brilliant Julian Jaynes contends that metaphors in the form of images actually drive and expand literal understanding and the eventual development of language.

In other words, images drive the development of words and our most complete understanding as self-conscious human beings.

I think all members who have used GIFs and images here at PhilosophyNow will agree, once you use a few of these right-brain philosophy enhances within this forum, you inevitably feel as if you sit in the crow's nest as far as other member's perspective within the sphere of philosophy.

We will all eventually be using more images and less words here at the second greatest philosophy forum on the planet, PhilosophyNow forums.

Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing a growing number of us break-out of our clearly self-imposed limitations!

I think you meant "sphere," which does indicate you should stick with GIFs and images.

Going be the standard of your posts I am detecting dissension in the ranks. Basically, we are unhappy with your leadership and so we respectfully ask that you relinquish you position as leader of this forum. Perhaps you will consider me as your replacement. Hey, I am no gnu but wadda ya think?

Well, I'm really into crypto-currencies and I made some quick money on steemit using the same exact posts that I developed here.

But I quickly learned that posters generally don't get the back-and-forth conversation-type communication that we have here.

One day perhaps I will discover a new technology in a philosophy forum that will provide all the benefits we have here & more...but for now - The PhilosophyNow Forums REMAINS THE BEST PHILOSOPHY FORUM THAT MANKIND HAS EVER WITNESSED!
