The moderator notifies the authorities.
If they are using a computer and the internet the killer will be caught, it just depends how much the authorities are willing to commit to the search.

I can see why you get banned so often. Fortunately for you this site rarely bans anyone. I really don't understand why people with terrible English skills insist on writing long threads.TSBU wrote: Yes, I love doing that with my pupils, they love it too. Do you answer with retoric sarcastic questions every time that a person doesn't agree with you?
Anyway, congrats, I've been saying "if you don't see the point, don't answer to this thread" since your second post I think.
Re: Talking to a killer
Your alleged pupils enjoy pointless discussions about nothing at all? Good for them.TSBU wrote: Yes, I love doing that with my pupils, they love it too.

No, they love to get hypos and answer to them, but when I talk to someone, I like to use the same words.thedoc wrote:Your alleged pupils enjoy pointless discussions about nothing at all? Good for them.TSBU wrote: Yes, I love doing that with my pupils, they love it too.
Because I know that my English skills are enough to be understood in the hypo.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:I can see why you get banned so often. Fortunately for you this site rarely bans anyone. And TBH, I wasn't banned, they just cut some posts (ethical posts always) and the excuse was my English skills, so I left. Unfortunately for you, offtopic in threads and insults are not banned in this forum, so you can keep lying to yourself easily. Ey, if you want, I give you the last word, c'mon, show me your anger miss rational. You'll win, cause I won't answer. Or stop it now, You'll win in your head anyway XD.
I'm a computer engineer, I've posted that in a forum for computer engineers (because people were getting very anoying with the "he can't be uncathable"), the method I said allows (with enough money) to find the computer wich has posted that... but that has been prepared 48 hours earlier (or more), then the computer send the post, and it burns. So, it's "easy" to know where did the post came from, but that's not enough to catch him.Arising_uk wrote:The moderator notifies the authorities.

I don't want to talk about that, suppose that he has not been caught yet in months, that's the hypo, if you can't imagine that, thanks for your answer.

They don't know any better, and they don't know that their English is bad. They use their native grammar, and think their English is OK.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: I really don't understand why people with terrible English skills insist on writing long threads.![]()

Re: Talking to a killer
I know I've done something bad, but I don't know how to do it better (now). In every English forum my sign is "sorry for my English" or something like that. I think I can be understood, even though I have mistakes. I'm learning, The best way to learn is practice, feel free to correct me if you want to spend your time in that (I bet you don't XD). And enough of this, I'll answer just to the thread for now on.thedoc wrote:Then fix it.TSBU wrote:I know it.thedoc wrote:

Actually I've been perfectly civil with you. You are the one getting defensive every time someone asks you a question. And I doubt if anyone is interested in pming you for clarification (probably a deliberate ploy on your part).TSBU wrote: Because I know that my English skills are enough to be understood in the hypo.

This is not philosophy, but the ramblings of a sick mind.TSBU wrote: I find interesting this question, they got angry.
And it looks like many people want to answer this question, but only one has tried to "play the game" (to put himself in that situation).
I think you might have an idea for a book, as long as you can write the solution and the modus vivendi of the killer, but I doubt it.
Maybe you should try a writers forum?
Re: Talking to a killer
And that's not an insult... Well, nearly everybody is sick, from my point of view. There are lots of ethic problems with people and traisn, I've always find them boring, I think "I don't have enough data", well, nobody seem to call that people sick. It's frustrating to see how people always talk to themselves.Hobbes' Choice wrote:This is not philosophy, but the ramblings of a sick mind.TSBU wrote: I find interesting this question, they got angry.

Yes, I have an idea for a book, in fact, I have part od the book written, but the murderer is just a small part of the book.
No, I want to write here, and, as I said, this is interesting for me, if you can't see it interesting, well, I've known only a few people interested in metaphysics, but this is very related with ethic (can you say no to that?) and that's philosophy (it's also related with comunication etc... ey, after all, philosophy is about everything, for example, I would never consider philosophy a politics thread, but I'm not there calling them sick, and saying them "this is not philosophy, you should be in a politics forum".)
Have a nice day. You are sick.
And now... if anybody want to answer this thread, I'll gladly keep in the topic with them. But please, stop this kind of posts.

Re: Talking to a killer
He's using the internet, he has to have access, he has to use a service provider, he has to pay, he has to have a place to burn his computer, he has to pay, he has to meet landlords, motel clerks, etc, etc, he's leaving a financial trail, a location trail and a face-to-face recognition trail, sooner or later he'll get caught. Serial killers can and have operated for years but using a computer and the internet to advertise will shorten his lifespan considerably if the authorities get serious about catching him.TSBU wrote:...

I steal lots of computers (easy). I wait two years.Arising_uk wrote:He's using the internet, he has to have access, he has to use a service provider, he has to pay, he has to have a place to burn his computer, he has to pay, he has to meet landlords, motel clerks, etc, etc, he's leaving a financial trail, a location trail and a face-to-face recognition trail, sooner or later he'll get caught. I go to a place with free wifi in the street (Or I use any wifi from a house, it's usually easy), and I connect, I write a programm "in 48 hours, go to that site and post this", I also set a small "bomb" prepared to burn the computer in 48 hours and one minute (if you think that 48 hours are too much for a battery, you can easily make that time bigger), I get out of the place, I may go to another city.
48 hours later, the post is sent, police identifies that post as a "killer" post, they quickly know where did the post came from.
Well, they get to a street, say 5 minutes after the post is sent, they find a burned computer, so they can't see the program (and even if they could, that would only tell them that the killer has been there 48 hours later, they can ask people "have you seen a person with a computer two days ago?".
But, ok, I'm not interested in how difficult it is, suppose that it happens, and if you can't imagine that, then you have your answer (that can't happen), Your answer can be "waiting for police" too, if you can imagine the situation but you think that it's too difficult to stay in that situation for a long time.
I'm interested in what would you say to the killer, that's what is interesting to me, you can imagine the rest as you wish.
(Oh, and I said "I" in that example, because it's easier to write that way XD, but... I'm not a murderer. I think people want to see me in this post like a murderer, cause this post deals with a big buuble in lot of heads, and when people see somone who have different thoughts in ethics, or something that touches their deeper feelings, they quickly put the label "enemy"). I think that ethics are for most of people, a bubble, a big bubble, they don't think much in how to deal with things. There is a famous experiment about obedience, it's kinda famous, Milgram experiment... well, I see this thread similar to that. (clue! XD)

Re: Talking to a killer
Not sure where you live but here we have CCTV pretty much everywhere, you in a car, vehicle regs. You steal lots of computers, more chance to get caught just stealing. You go on a street and hijack a wifi the police start asking the locals who they saw at that time and in that area, you go into a house then chances to get caught go up, you fly? Then air-records, etc, etc. Then there's all the stuff just connected with the actual kidnapping and murder. Serial killers get away with it because they do not self-publish, this murderer does this they are shortening their life-span.
What would I say to such a killer? Nothing, as what is there to say to such a sad individual?
Face-to-face, I'd try to incapacitate him and hand him over to the authorities.
As a mod I'd report him to the authorities and see what they want me to do.
