Got to watch out for the quiet ones - rabble-rousers and kingmakers working quietly behind the scenes :)
Harbal is more of a insert a cat into the pigeon house and stand well back type of guy.

It's a neat trick: love everyone, hate each one.

Best of both worlds: 'I love you all, but I won't do diddly squat for any of you'.
So says our friendly resident warmonger.
Indeed. One expects such a person to deny the humanity of others in order that he can easily send in the tanks to crush their bodies without regret.
As if someone necessarily has to be a gregarious 'people-person' to have empathy and sadness for the extreme suffering of others.

"You are an apathetic, self-centred piece of shit"

And you're a vicious, semen-guzzlin', whore.

We all got our crosses to bear.

Ah the unintended consequences of levity!!

Now we see Quirk and Dalek as bed-fellows. What a tangled web we weave.
Separate twin cots. You've never gone camping?

Since you are such a psychopathic, callous little shit I doubt if you would have empathy for anyone, family included, but karma has a habit of biting us in the arse. Maybe it will be YOUR arse being raped. Btw, which 'school of philosophy' do you adhere to? The 'don't give a shit' one, or the 'I'm ok Jack' one? The only requirement of either is a complete inability to think, which is why a philosophy forum is such an odd choice.

Yes, usually a philosophy forum is a place for civil dialogue between members, why it is out of place for you to be hurling hostility and abuse at everyone. Since there are a few Yanks here, it's also odd that you are here among so many that you don't like, or do you just need targets.

There's nothing wrong with a heated debate, doc.

Heated about the topic is one thing, but personal hostility and abuse is just a bit much.

Not everyone. Nowhere near it. Quirk is a self-proclaimed warmonger who doesn't give a shit about the extreme suffering his country's warmongering inflicts on others. Yes, I have utter contempt for him and his ilk. He's no better than a serial killer. If you look back at my first comment to him, there was nothing 'abusive' about it. Just because he's your friend doesn't mean you have to feign blindness. You seem to be selectively blind to all the other 'piece of shit' etc. comments flying around the place.
