~ Near-Death Experience ~

Post by Bill Wiltrack »

.

For those active members here who have recently had a near-death experience, what were your feelings and/or thoughts just before you were sure that you were about to die?

Has anything you felt or thought during that moment changed you since or because of that near death experience?

Are you a different person today
because of that experience?

I almost fell off a ladder, once. If I remember correctly, my thoughts were something like, why the fuck did I volunteer to clean the stupid windows.

I suppose so. I think the biggest change is that I've developed a reluctance to go up ladders.

My grandfather often talked about his experience of drowning, for all intents and purposes. According to him it was a pleasant and magical experience. He said there were lots of twinkling, coloured lights (which would be the brain shutting down).
