This reminds me of another case where a mans body wasn't discovered for at least 2 weeks, when the police ran the plates of a wrecked car and discovered who it belonged to. When they went to ask the owner about it, they discovered that he had been dead for at least 2 weeks.

I forget the fellow's name, but my sister rented a house in London, Ontario, from a convicted murderer. I found it an odd move for her and her husband when, without consulting him, they then renovated the place. Personally, I would ask a man, known for killing people, for permission first.
