It sounds like you're loved.

There's nothing quite so sharp as death in tuning the heart to what really matters, is there?

Long may you run.

Actually I can, (I just tried it) but so far I don't have 5 people to thank. Thankyou isn't that much of a tongue twister.
Ha! (I asked you to say that five times fast. )
Yes, but the first time you didn't put "that" in italics so it could have stood for anything.

Spouses are always bitching and moaning about something.

I was going to say wives but that would have been sexist.

I just tried and it's not really very hard. If you want to have some fun, wait till someone has had several drinks and then ask them to say "Freddy Fudd Pucker" several times fast, that's always good for a laugh.

And I have no idea why, but I'll accept it.

Thankyou.

I don't want to piss off any females.

Females are delightful creatures who make excellent objects of desire.

I agree, but desire at a distance can be frustrating at times.

There is always at least one girlie within 50 miles of you somewhere who would be willing and able for the right price.

You just need to be able to negotiate.

And given his sink habits that's about the only way he's gonna get it.

Whatever he does he better not try using the wine as a sweetener as even hookers have better taste.

If he has one, which I doubt, I can well understand why,
I was going to say wives but that would have been sexist.
Instead he'll just be an equal opportunities sexist.

Arrival is at 5:45 AM, it must be the night shift that is up at that time in the morning. The surgery is at 7:00 AM, why do these doctors need to start so early in the morning, couldn't they schedule things at a more civilized time of day?

That just means she is the first one on the roster.

They normally start early and do several in a row.

Typically each surgery lasts an hour, then they take a short break, clean up, and do the next, and the next, until they have done 3 or 4 before lunch.

Same thing in the afternoon then.

I was surprised by the assembly line procedures but that's how they keep costs low by doing several all in a row.

I imagine that it's all in a days work for a surgeon.

Good luck and best wishes for tomorrow.

She seems to have gone through the surgery OK, but she comes out of anesthesia slowly and she was drifting in and out of sleep, so I left around noon and I'll be going back in shortly. The surgeon said there was no indication that the cancer had spread, but we'll know more when the results of the tests come back, hopefully later today. The surgery was about 2 hours, it was a bit more involved than the usual surgery, so it should have been over about 9:30.
