Hickory dickory fart,
I'd rather not do some art.

getting ready for war
my buddy and me
we are building our bodies to be fit
the times require it again
preparing the body for war
we are fitter than we've ever been
we are building our bodies for war

Hickory dickory lark,
Nurse, it's getting so dark...

Hickory dickory breath,
Patient, you smell of death.

Hickory dickory query,
Does it have to be so eerie?

Hickory dickory poke,
Don't worry, it's all a big joke.

(Nailed it! Badda-bing!)

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, “Is it good, friend?”
“It is bitter—bitter,” he answered;

“But I like it
“Because it is bitter,
“And because it is my heart.”

her tits were like ice
as I squeezed them together
they shattered
the holes that were left
I went into and found myself
on a dark cobbled street at night

I saw Goebbels in the war
He told me that I looked young
He said the best advice you can get
I told him I'd read his book and he asked which one

we were on the town drinking our pay
just to watch the money we make
that's when I saw you on a good thing
your lips are swollen and so you
it makes me want to talk to you
I sing at you out in a crowd
because I want to put you in my mouth say
I don't want to be stuck on something like a teenage boy
I don't know what to make my life
I was hoping baby you could try...

We ragazzi make me

Yes thanks for the interest. They just build up and fall out all of a sudden. It might start with a first line that has been running around in my head for a while, then the rest just follow. I think I had a dream were I met Goebbels and so he was on my mind, but I was also aware of him being the minister for propaganda in the third Reich, if alive today he would have his own PR company maybe. We still carry the baggage from the last world war, the dust has not settled, we live in post-fascist societies. The magazine doesn't actually exist, I made that up, it's part of the poem.

I'm always reading, there are hundreds of books in me, thousands of words, they have to come out now and again. Here's another for you:

There was a man named Socrates
A giant of philosophy
A purveyor of great wisdom
Though after much criticism
The citizens put him to death
Thinking he caused too much unrest
These accusations were all lies
Socrates was noble and wise
Rather than corrupting the youth
He taught only love of the truth
