The totalitarian appeal to mind as a method of persuasion appeals enough to make some folks clap.
This gives those with life experience pause, defining those with life experience as anyone cognizant of totalitarian talk from the inexperienced wielding immense legal power.
The fear of The Trump is his demonstrated immense skill at persuasion, and his immense skill at working the free-enterprise system as it exists chained to big government and the global economy.
Now that the forces are aligning, the question is, what is Trump’s intent and who will he be if elected president, and influenced by whatever forces influence presidents? Will his life-skills of working to his own advantage benefit the country and the world?
It’s not like he’s a nobody who suddenly appeared out of nowhere to become a POTUS wielding immense legal power. Like that could ever happen. Oh wait, it did.
Anyway Trump has the experience to wield that power on behalf of himself or whoever whispers into his ear. That’s why people fear him.
The question is, what is Trump’s intent? To head a thread of 330+ million souls, to appeal to reason, to wallow in power? To take expensive vacations?
He's probably already experienced three of the four.

I am more than capable at a lot of things that I do. I once did a job way better than anyone else could do, but I didn't let on just how good I could do it. Two reasons, one I didn't want the management to expect too much of me, and I didn't want to make it too hard on the next guy doing the job, so I held back to keep the production within reason.bobevenson wrote:I'm surprised you can even do it.thedoc wrote:I was referring to self satisfaction of a job well done.bobevenson wrote: In your case, I'm surprised it works at all.
