I don't get why he's getting flack for just being himself here.

Why do you give flack to anyone in life? Don't we do it to reflect to people what they are doing? Why are you taking this to heart?

So did I. But since he chose to include all people in his one-sided assessment, what is wrong with me pointing out that this is only ONE PERSPECTIVE (his) and that he is projecting it onto others? Am I not supposed to comment on views I disagree with?

Maybe that's why you're defending Bill without understanding the other perspectives.

Bill doesn't need to explain himself to you or anyone why he expresses himself the way he does.

I don't think anyone is asking for an explanation. In many places throughout these threads, we reflect back to someone when they're not following-through or being respectful or honest or fair or whatever. That's just part of being in a relationship/group and sharing a public space. Otherwise, we'd all just be talking at each other.

I seriously cannot believe why people who use internet forums get so wound up over other people especially people they haven't even met or even known.....

This is similar to why I don't understand Bill's sweeping assessments that he aims at readers here.

I'm wondering why, Bill, you are so certain (time and time again) of what other people are or aren't... and why you frame it that way? As if "you know", and other people don't. I understood what you said... and I have ongoing experience with that. I get it (and I'm sure there are others who do too). What I don't get is your ego. I would think that in grasping such things you would realize that everyone has access to the same/similar insights that you do... and (in some cases) more! What is the purpose of setting yourself and your "insights" apart?
