Well, they said nothing.
The 10 active posters upon this excellent forum said nothing because they did not know what to say.
There was no directive path and the tone here upon this thread. And the overall gestalt at the PhilosophyNow Forums lately. is to jump upon a fellow member criticize, breakdown, and critique EVERY SINGLE WORD of another poster.
Not to embrace fellow posters overall thought process or conscious perspective.
Don't totally allow the weak & foolish to ruin every thread here.
Speak-up you fellow observers. SPEAK YOUR MIND.
Even though, admittedly, every word, every thought we express is half wrong.
Don't let that stop you.

It's not that I didn't know what to say, it's just that I find it impossible to say anything to you that isn't abusive. I was just trying to behave myself, surely I deserve some credit for that. Tosser! (it really is impossible).Bill Wiltrack wrote:.

I know what to say.
I say "THIS thread is as empty as your head and requires no comment at all."
Try and think it through.

Aw! See, this is what I get for trying to be nice. As what I was going to post in answer to the title was
"Please go post your gnu-guff somewhere else".
Hence nothing was said and so no reply needed. There was no directive path and the tone here upon this thread. ...
Do you even know what "Gestalt" is supposed to mean? Or do German words just sound deep to you. If so try "Zeitgeist" or maybe even "Weltanschauung".And the overall gestalt at the PhilosophyNow Forums lately. ...
Trying to use the words in their commonly understood meaning might help but all-in-all what you are complaining about is an important method of Philosophy, i.e. critique and I can well understand why a gnu might find this irksome.... is to jump upon a fellow member criticize, breakdown, and critique EVERY SINGLE WORD of another poster.
By embrace do you mean accept contradictions? If so then you should not be posting upon a Philosophy forum .Not to embrace fellow posters overall thought process or conscious perspective.
But allow contradictions and falsehoods to go unchallenged? Definitely not suited to a Philosophy forum.Don't totally allow the weak & foolish to ruin every thread here.
And prepare to be critiqued and actually respond to it and if one is truly here to philosophize then change one's thoughts and beliefs in the face of accurate critique. Doesn't mean you have to lose them, just amend them to deal with the critique. It's called Philosophy and philosophizing.Speak-up you fellow observers. SPEAK YOUR MIND.
Is that like being a bit pregnant?Even though, admittedly, every word, every thought we express is half wrong.
I agree, just be prepared to amend one's thought to deal with the wrong parts and don't thikn it some attempt to subdue you, as it's just Philosophy and if engaged with correctly will refine and strengthen one's thoughts and beliefs.Don't let that stop you.[/size]
Re: ~ What They All Said ~
Bill, you maybe a sorry specimen, yourself, but you certainly seem to bring out the best in others.
Re: ~ What They All Said ~
So, Bill... it sounds like...
> You want people here to respond to whatever you say
> You want them to agree or feel commonality with what you say
> You will not respond to questions asking for clarification or any type of justification
> If people point out inconsistencies, falsehoods, projections, or abusive behavior, you will think that they are trying to subdue you
Is this correct? Or are you going to ignore answering this too?
Honestly, why would people here be interested in meeting those conditions above for anyone?

Just to start off with, you're misdirected in each of your initial assumptions.
...so, we would assume that your conclusions are brought about by a colossal a priory misunderstanding.
Good day, young lady.

Are you aware of the things you say and do, BEYOND the moment that you say and do them?Bill Wiltrack wrote:...you're misdirected in each of your initial assumptions

Yeah. I'm going to stick with and double-down upon my earlier post:

Or did I misunderstand and you were referring to your rehabilitation clinic?
Or even the monastery you should attend to rediscover your faith in a 'God'.

I think Bill drinks a lot.
Re: ~ What They All Said ~
Just as you wouldn't expect a cat to bark or a chicken to quack, you shouldn't expect to get any kind of sense out of Billy the buffoon, he's not that kind of animal. Don't waste your time on him, young lady.Lacewing wrote: Are you aware of the things you say and do, BEYOND the moment that you say and do them?

I thought he meant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priory_(band), not https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Priory_(play), or was it ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priory ???Arising_uk wrote:Bill Wiltrack wrote:.

Hence the misunderstanding.

But what is he drinking, alcohol alone couldn't do that to a person.Hobbes' Choice wrote:
