Club Ouzo No. 9 & Sally Sue

Club Ouzo No. 9 & Sally Sue

When you're in Cincinnati
Going north on Vine
Till you're out in the boonies
And across the line,
Just follow that crowd
Till you see the sign
Of Club Ouzo No. 9.

I met a girl there,
Her name is Sally Sue.
If she asks you to play,
You better know what to do,
'Cause when she takes out her cards,
You're going to get a new view
Of Club Ouzo No. 9.

She made a bid of one 7,
I came back with an 8.
Then she bid two of something,
And I knew I could wait.
When she got up to three,
I knew it might be too late
At Club Ouzo No. 9.

I doubled at 5's,
But 6 was her goal.
I played for her heart,
But she wanted my soul.
That's all I had left,
And she collected the toll
At Club Ouzo No. 9.

I'm feelin' fine,
Gimme some wine.
My head was spinning,
And I don't even drink.

"Armageddon," the site of the final battle between good and evil, is an anagram for "Dame Dragon," and "Nicolaitanes," of whom Christ said he hates the deeds and doctrine in Chapter 2 of the book of Revelation, is an anagram for "O satanic line," a reference to the beast line of the Ouzo Cross. Anagrams are related to gematria in that both are number/letter codes, anagrams being based on ordinal numbers and gematria on cardinal numbers.

So, let me get this straight; its an anagram for a language that didn't exist; English? Uh, yeah. I guess it fits in with bullshit like seeing the future too aka prophecy.

Thanks for the substance on this website. And in a poem. Good philosophy.

The specific reference led to reading about the recent history of Cincinnati north of Vine, a revitalization apparently resulting from conscious planning, good intentions, business-friendly environment. Probably some other reasons. Also, The Cincinnati Kid is an interesting artistic ethical study.

Don't be a such pouty drama queen dude! You aren't required to be original, but you are expected to be interested in those who share your ideas and what happened the last time they were raised. Why wouldn't you be?

(I'm guessing you may have interpreted my use of  as a jibe at you rather than at Bob as it was intended. If so, my apologies)

I'm giving myself permission to behave like a pouty drama queen this winter. Yeah, it was the emoticon. All good, and thank you. My mind is all over the place these days after my father's death, with details, and my memory is often shabby at times, so if it's overlooked, its not intentional or for lack of interest.

MATTER

Immersed in the light
not all is seen.
Time quantifying reality,
specs of mere events,
pertain to a moment.
Experience the fourth dimension..
morph...

Seven a lucky number

You sit in front of a lit box

The system treats you

As a closed system

So that you may be

More easily herded

Into a form that does

Fit with a programme

That is totally beneath you

Canvas white you are ready
To take down the notes that
I as an entity must write upon you
Must I externalize that which is in me
So that I may empty myself of all the crap
Of a consumer state which I walk through and live

I drank the ocean
found my head and its goin fine...
Ive tried to find
what was left and found..
Its funny how it lets you down.
Just kick my feet of the ground,
and embrace the sky...
Ive got no beat in time
Ive no space in line...

Drunken thoughts

I know the only way off this planet is by one belief, one goal and one race. I've even said this many times, but what hurts me the most about this feeling is I also understand the only way to achieve that level of unity is through some yet defined hyper commodification of not only moral obligation, but an acceptance of slavery to the point of master no longer existing within its traditional meaning. This stands against everything I know to be the human experience through an individual perspective, but is without question the absolute equilibrium of what an amalgamated collective between the two trains of thought would look like.
