It's a bit early to say, Bill, but I've managed to get a few laughs out of it so far. Did you have an alternative in mind that I could compare it with?
Dalek. At least you won't be able to hear the whistle of the grim reaper's scythe striking the ultimate blow if you've got a Rubenesque lady sitting on your face.

I bet a fart sniffer would like that, especially in the service of a good cause, how ‘bout it.Dalek Prime wrote:Unless she farts....Obvious Leo wrote:It's a bit early to say, Bill, but I've managed to get a few laughs out of it so far. Nature tries all and any configurations. Some turn out to be lemons. It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it!Bill Wiltrack wrote:Looking back upon yourself - Why? Why did you exist?
Yes but I would like to know a LOT more about what's going on with this life, the universe and everything caper before shuffling off. The good part of the unknowing is finding things out. If we ever worked out life's mysteries we'd have to invent some new ones to unravel to stay challenged and entertained.Bill Wiltrack wrote:Was your existence worth the time, effort, pain, and unknowing?
If they don't know you, how can they be in a position to judge? Not enough info. A lot of important things happen in the moments between what historically appears important. Look at what's most known in history - mostly wars and tech advancements. Yet what matters to us is the everyday, the moment.Bill Wiltrack wrote:Could someone else justify your life[/b] if they did not know you?
My justification is based on the fact that while I'm not too flash, nor are most of us. Maybe we expect too much sometimes?Bill Wiltrack wrote:What would that justification be based upon?
We're pretty expendable outside of the personal sphere - like colonial bacteria or ants. Replaceable parts. If one wears out, get what you can from the carcass and move on. C'est la vie.Bill Wiltrack wrote:What if you eliminated everything you consider personal? Your personal trail. Have you created something beyond your short personal interests?

But your questions show a great lack of self-consciousness?Bill Wiltrack wrote:. I was kind-of going towards a path in reference to self-consciousness.
And apparently get no-where.That inner philosophical state where some of us travel.
Weren't thinking much of anything from what I can see.Wasn't thinking of you when I created this thread.
Not bothered by your opinion. Not sure you're going to find a place here in this one.
My pleasure.Your input was greatly appreciated though.[/size].

To the poster above:
Grow-up.
You don't talk to another poster in my thread that way.
If this philosophical site doesn't meet your taste - leave.
Just for the record - You don't know what hell is.

O my goodness, Walker, is it still you ?
If someone wants to calm down a game of chess could help because you use a different part of the brain and the amygdala can calm down.
I play with someone on the phone, we make about three moves a day.
My chessboard is occupied at present, otherwise I would offer to play with you.

Everyone does what they must.
The why usually follows ... the architecture of constructs.

I think of the big fonts as a form of marketing :)
