If it wants to be, why the fuck not. Doesn't impact me if it's a continent, or a manicured golf course.

You're right. I got my wires crossed thinking about Antarctica for some reason.

How do you account for Europe and Asia being separate? They are the same landmass, but politically separated since the Greeks defined the terms.
You made the relevant point yourself. The definition of a continent is somewhat arbitrary and the traditional classifications don't really stand up under the scrutiny of modern day geology and plate tectonics. However the notion of a continent has always been thought of in terms of geology only, in which case Central America wouldn't qualify under ANY definition. By Phil's reasoning China should be divided into 30 continents because it has 30 times the population of Central America.

No one on earth has ever, nor ever shall claim that Central America is a continent.
PhilX has offered us some dumb threads so far but I think this beyond all is the absolute dumbest.

WIki:"Central America (Spanish: América Central, Centroamérica or América del Centro) is the southernmost, isthmian portion of the North American continent, "

Does this moron even know where the fuck it is?

Does this village idiot (HC) have a clue in knowing where he"s at? Can't spell (misspelled four words in one of his posts just like his sock puppet), only knows how to be rude (just like his sock puppet). Doesn't put up threads (just like his sock puppet). I'm wasting my time responding to this piece of shit.
