Why do men like war and domination?

Why do all humans kill to live?
(Get the idea? Even if I don't lead you to discover these questions for yourself, they still exist.)
I don't understand the point you're trying to make by asking this. I was responding to the question of who is doing all the killing. When people are inclined to think and act completely with their controlling, uncooperative, and disconnected egos, rather than exploring something broader/greater from themselves, then they tend to destroy all around them. That seems to follow logic. Then when we ask why everything is destroyed... it seems to show our own obliviousness of the actual primitive state of evolution we're remaining in, which is not some sort of pinnacle that we like to think of ourselves as.
Is shitting down throats and openly distaining,
the reason for killing?
The question still stands.
Can you (anyone reading this) identify a single cause for killing that applies to every human being?
Yes, as I told you all humans kill to live.
From this simple understanding follows the path of philosophy, which rationally recognizes a clear understanding regarding the cause of war. Once the cause is identified on this path, one can own the identified cause, rather than be enslaved by that cause one has recognized.
No. War is not the necessary consequence of this fact. Nor does the existence of war predict this fact. We might as well have war when never having killed to live, and we could still kill to live and never go to war.

Even I used to believe that before Margaret Thatcher and Golda Mayer.

War. Why do we kill?: Because we are human, Love of country?
Because we are human, Love of Race?
Because we are human, Love of ethnicity?
Because we are human,
Unresolved hate?
Because we are human, Instinctive natural make-up?
Because we are human,
Need of food, clothing, shelter?
Because we are human,
Need for freedom from oppression?
Because we are human,
There are many reasons we kill...
Because we are human,
America has had the reputation of not only being the leader of the free world but more recently America has had the rap of being violent. Perhaps unnecessarily so.
Because we are human,
We are a country of over 300 million people. We are a country that recognizes there are over 300 million firearms in our circulation. Over one firearm per man, woman, and child.
39 Americans die each day from firearms within our country.
Because we are human,
We are a country of continuous war. 22 veterans A DAY kill themselves. Over 8,000 per year. Perhaps more, for we really don't document well this statistic.
Because we are human,
No matter who we are or where we live, we kill.
Because we are human,
We may kill for love, for hate, for need, for religion, for greed, for many other reasons but we still kill.
Because we are human,
Despite our technological miracles that make life so much easier, we still kill. No matter what economic or social ring we find ourselves in...we still kill.
Because we are human,
Will humans ever evolve, mentally, physically, & emotionally where we don't kill each other? No exceptions. Killing; the death penalty will never come into the equation no matter what our differences. No matter what we need or take.
Because we are human, Will we ever become human to the extent where we do not kill one another?
We Already are human,
.
We need to learn to put reason before emotion, and Rationality before instinct. Science before religion.
That would be metahuman.
Kinda, but I would call it the smarter, more intellectual human, an evolved human.

But "evolved" does not imply more inclusively moral. All the indicators seem to point to an increasingly more violent humans, as we 'evolve' ever onward. If by intellectual you would include William F Buckley Jnr., then you might have to think again.
The UK just voted to extend the war to include Syria tonight.
I appreciate your attempt at understanding this deep philosophical query.
ROTFUMFHFO.
I thank you for stating and re-stating the obvious; we, in fact, are human. WE ALL UNDERSTAND THIS POINT already.
It seems to have escaped your attention.
If I may redirect your attention to, what I think, is the questioning core of this thread, it would be:
Will humans ever evolve, mentally, physically, & emotionally where we don't kill each other? No exceptions. Killing; the death penalty will never come into the equation no matter what our differences. No matter what we need or take.
What you mean is "When will humans cease to be human.".
.
You are assuming that it is "MORE" evolved to reach a point where we stop killing. And so it would seem that you assume that it's more evolved to remain killers, in the way Bill is obviously referring, yet I know that you can only be playing games, lest you're actually considering your eminent death, and embracing it wholeheartedly. And I know you love your life more than that.
That's a contradiction as evolution works by the differential success in reproduction and survival, Not at all, it's all about unseen or unrealized environmental factors, that evolution takes place. Oh sorry, I almost forgot, you're reading from someone else's book, and I'm using my own mind, connecting the dots, excuse me!
and killing is a key part of that process. Wrong again, only those caught up in fear and selfishness believe this.
For this thing you desire to come to fruition by evolution would require that those who kill fail to survive and reproduce. Wrong, again! For it to come to fruition only requires the proper teaching of those things that actually matter.
You've already shot yourself in the foot by denying us the death penalty which is one way to affectively stop killers from reproducing. Again, wrong! Man, from all this, it would seem you've actually served in the military, and killed, killed, killed. Are you a bad assed wolf, here to teach us sheeple? In a true state of chaos, you'd probably be one of the first to bite the dust, spouting such things from your easy chair recliner, what, is that a BMW too? One can only truly lead by example, my son! Thus no killing for any reason.
Am I going to fast for you? Actually it's rather slowly, or better yet, your regression as if you're a throwback, to a more brutal time, if only in your pampered mind! I hate to tell you this, but in such a time, there were no BMW's, nor half baked teachers! They were rather, fodder for the cannons, for those that would eat you from the inside out.
But you relatively sound tough. Maybe to some and maybe Bill, though I doubt it. Surely not I, as I scoff at your assertions. Knowing them for the armchair bad-boy that they reveal!
Happy Holidays, to all those wishing to celebrate, whatever they wish to celebrate, in the truest of sense of course.
pssst... you too, HC!

Surely it's only the yank, right Arising UK? France isn't too far away from England, maybe those that visit French restaurants can take the tunnel and visit your neighborhood, possibly causing you to rethink your stance! Though you would surely infer that it's your boner that gets in your way, though I still sense ovaries.
