No one says you have to submit to it but most of the time, people are really nothing more than shit-brained walking functions anyways. It's always been the path of least resistance. Religion and the religion of corporate culture are among the best examples of that. The presiding vector of intelligence is when people group en masse. That's when you get to know how intelligent humans really are.

It's not about 'submitting', that suggests a choice, we are simply programmed by the system and think it is a 'me.'
